Xolo is a short stack with a heart as big as his enormous head!! Xolo is very friendly will everyone that he meets, loves other dogs and lived with a cat. He is up to date with shots and neutered. He walked with us on a 3 mile fundraiser walk, but also would love to cuddle up with you on the couch. He takes treats gently and is eager to please. Xolo is a great dog and would be a wonderful addition to any home. Xolo came in with a skin condition due to allergies, but has improved with medicated baths and medication. May be long term.

His previous owner loved him very much, but had an unstable housing situation that made it impossible for him to give Troy a consistent home.Troy is a total sweetheart who loves nothing more than going for a relaxing walk. He is great on a leash and so happy to explore the beautiful Hudson Valley after arriving from the big city! Troy loves other dogs and has a calm energy about him that can be comforting to some of our more anxious pups. He's a big baby, too - he cries when he sees people around because he's so keen to cuddle up with them. His skin is in rough shape after bouncing back and forth between the shelter and living outside, but he is getting excellent treatment by our vet and is on the up-and-up!Troy is pretty much perfect in every way. “Happier than a pig in mud” The first photo was taken in September 2023The other the first time we laid eyes on her, tied to a tree in our driveway. We won’t forget that day. And we see it when we look at her- she was left there approximately 4 am. In the dark and it was sleeting out. She was left by two people. 964 shares this girl we named “Hope” had on the original post in March 2023. Not one lead to someone with any info to share about her- not even her name. 6 months…But we have learned she’s pretty goofy. She loves a good ball. She’s selective of other animals. She’s strong. She loves to roll in everything especially dirt as you can see 🙈.Her perfect home would be…✔️adults- she’s a bulldozer and doesn’t know boundaries here.✔️resident dogs might be okay, with a proper meet and greet✔️a confident owner- she’s solid and will benefit from consistency with training and leadership.
