Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Captain Tail Blur!! Squiggy is a comical, ridiculous little dog who came to us after a dog fight bust. He's around 4 years of age and has been hanging out as a sort of sanctuary dog for a few years, but he's grown so much in that time that he'd do just fine in a home with people of his own. Squiggs is a little guy, maybe 40lbs, with goofy energy and the sweetest demeanor. He absolutely loves people and loves fun, and he's gotten so very close to making dog friends, but he's just too afraid of being attacked again and can't quite get there. It's such a shame what people call a sport, and this little guy had to pay the price of evil peoples' entertainment, he so deserved better.  So what's life with a former fighting dog like? Well, to be fair, he wasn't so much of a fighting dog as a target of other dogs. He's s little guy, and he's a happy guy, he visits with other dogs through barriers and play bows, he looks for all the world like a guy who is dying to play with other dogs, you'd never know by watching him what he's been through. Generally he's just a dog, he has no vices, he's super food motivated and loves to train. He'd absolutely adore finding a human who would trick train him and help him learn to binge watch Netflix. There's actually no management needed within the home, just crate and rotate if family comes with visiting dogs, he's totally fine with that life.  These guys are always hard to find a home for, not because they're anything other than a dog, but because media has scared people into thinking they're monsters. If you met Squiggy and someone called him a monster, you'd totally crack up, he's so not scary at all. Even with the cropped ears and black coat, he's just such a little goofball. Squiggy would love a fenced yard and a person to call his own. He'll follow you around the house and help you with all the things, then he'll flop down on his bed and chew his bones or hop up onto the sofa for a solid cuddle. He's a good little dog who deserves a human of his own, foster or adopter, either is fine. Ready to make a difference in the life of a dog who had a truly horrific start? Squiggy can't wait to hear from you! Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an application today. Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. March 25, 2024, 8:49 pm

Story
To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Our boy Stanley is one happy dude, but do you think he'd smile for a photo? Lawdy, doggo, show the peoples your bestest buddy dog grin! No? Ok, they'll just have to take our word for it. Stanley is 1.5-2 years old, 40ish lbs and just the neatest little guy. His head seems way too big for his body at times, he's great with dog friends, he loves to learn and will stare at you waiting for the next lesson to begin and he can chase a squirrel up a tree with the best of them. Stanley loves the kiddos, but is not for cats or small cage animals. He's housebroken, crate trained, mostly quiet and pretty non-destructive. He does love a good sofa relaxation session as much as he loves a rowdy game of fetch. He's just an all around good dog looking for an all around good family to show him what happily ever after looks like. Does this look like the dog you've been hoping to find? Visit southofthebully.com and fill out an application, we can't wait for you all to meet each other! Our adoption fee is $300. Story
Contact foster at pauladgarzxon10@gmail.comI`m Magnum, the supercharged three-year-old pup here to spread some tail-wagging happiness your way. First things first, buckle up `cause I`m all about car rides – wind in my fur, tunes in the air, it`s like my own doggy party on wheels!Cuddles? Oh, you bet! I`m a cuddle champion, and there`s nothing I love more than snuggling up and soaking in all the love. House trained? Yup, I`ve got that covered too – no indoor mishaps with me around!Toys, toys, and more toys – they`re like my best friends! I`m a toy-tastic playmate, and fetch? Oh, you know it! I`ll chase after that ball like a furry lightning bolt.Energizer Bunny? That`s me! I`ve got more energy than a tornado in a doggy park, and I`ll keep going and going, ready for any adventure you`ve got in mind. Now, when it comes to my fellow four-legged buddies, I`m a bit picky. Some dogs, I`m totally cool with, but others, well, let`s just say I`m a bit choosy about who I hang out with.Energetic? Absolutely. Chewer? Guilty as charged! I can`t resist a good chew sesh, especially if it involves pillows, blankets, or even furniture – oops! But hey, it`s all in good fun, right? And guess what? Even though I might be a toy destroyer, I`m also a cuddle monster. I`ve got the perfect balance of play and snuggle!Sweetness overload alert! I`m like a sugar-coated marshmallow when it comes to meeting new people. And here`s a little secret: I might be three, but I act like a bouncy puppy half my age – age is just a number, pals!Playful is my middle name, and I`ve got a special talent – choosing random household objects over toys. Socks, shoes, you name it! As for correction, well, let`s just say I`m a free spirit who dances to my own tune.Quiet as a mouse, that`s me! I`m not one to bark up a storm, in fact, I`ve only barked once since leaving the shelter. And speaking of shelter, I`m a true people-lover, and being around humans is my ultimate happiness.Family dog potential? Oh, absolutely! With a bit of training, I`ll be the best family member you could ever ask for. And don`t worry, I seem to have this whole housebroken thing down pat.So there you have it, the whirlwind world of Magnum! Car ride enthusiast, cuddle guru, toy aficionado, fetch fanatic, and the world`s most energetic and affectionate pup. Life with me is a wild ride, and I`m here to make every moment a paw-some adventure!

contact foster parent at shellie@naturalbreedkennels.comAvie has went through a 6 week board and train and has become a very well mannered dog. He knows the following commands; sit-lay-stay-come-leave it. He walks well on a leash and corrects quickly He is extremely food motivated and has a high desire to pleaseAvie will not react to other animals on a leash however may be better suited as the only animal in the home. Avie loves to ride in the car especially shot gun. He loves to take walks, but his favorite is water play. He loves to snuggle up and get his belly rubbed. He does not have high energy and would rather snuggle than play ball.
