Story
Check out Bongo's latest publicity photos above! Miss Bongo is about 10 months old and is affectionate and spunky. We have been caring for her for about 5 months since she and her litter were abandoned by neighbors. We already have 2 cats and need to find a home for Bongo. She gets along well with other cats. She loves playing with her felt mice and soccer with a whiffle golfball. She gets the zoomies, very entertaining! I know she would be a great addition to your family!

We have been caring for White Paws for about 3 months since she and her litter were abandoned by neighbors. She is very affectionate and friendly. She has a mellow personality, yet is very playful (loves her toy mouse!) and gets along well with everyone. She is about 8 months old. We already have two cats and cannot keep her, she would make a wonderful addition to your family!

Story
Penelope is 7 years old, we found her and her brother as kittens abandoned by their mom. We handraised them both and love them dearly. She is a very loving cat that loves to cuddle and has never scratched or bitten us. Although we hate to part with her, we recently moved to an area with feral cats and had a baby, which has been too much for Penelope. She is stressed out and acting out by going outside of her litterbox. We have tried to the best of our abilities to help her including going to the vet but it has been a year and we have reached our limits. As much as it breaks our hearts to have to give her up we have to put our child's health first. We are hoping to find another loving family who can provide a stable and calm environment for her to thrive.

Story
Was gifted this kitten and soon found out my son and 3 month old daughter are both severely allergic to cats. I cannot keep him unfortunately. Hes great with kids, dogs and other cats. I don’t want to take him to a shelter because they will eventually euthanize him as what I was told most of the shelters around me do that due to overfilled kennels. I believe he is around 6-7 months old.

Story
Dusty is a super sweet senior girl who loves affection and scritches. She is also fairly mellow and prefers to hang out on her cat tree and watch the world go by (especially while soaking in the sun at the window). She is not super playful, and loud noises or fast movements tend to cause her to hide. She would prefer a quiet home, perhaps with another mellow kitty. She requires a prescription diet for urinary health (currently on Hills C/D Multicare Stress dry food and various urinary care wet foods) to prevent her from getting inflammation of the bladder which can cause further urinary issues. She does well on the special diet and has been cleared by a vet for adoption. Her breed and color best fits an American Shorthair Smoke (her fur is black with gray and white undertones), but we don't really know for sure. Dusty is good company, likes to stay close by. She’s well behaved, uses scratching post and does not scratch furniture. Faithfully uses liter box, no accidents. Not a picky eater, likes her dry food and wet food too. She entertains herself by fetching a fuzzy ball “her prey”. She like to sit next to her people, but is not a lap cat. Likes being petted and scratched on the chin. She sleeps in her own room, and does occasionally snore, but will cuddle in bed. She’s a sweetie. Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $150, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers. Story
Ms. Charley is a very sweet and affectionate kitty. She was spayed when I discovered her in my yard. Appears that her owner died and she was abandoned. She is outside and very stressed with it. I have had her in the house and she is fine. She has a good appetite and gets along with other cats. She mostly hangs out in the yard. She would make a good buddy to anyone.

Story
Miyako is at times shy, yet inquisitive and curious. When I first adopted her from the shelter she was terrified. But over the years I’ve been able to witness her personality bloom. She doesn’t like to be held but she does like to be pet from where she deems comfortable, for example, her beds. She loves chicken purée treats the most. She is terrified of dogs but loves to play with other cats. When you take Miyako home, you will receive her items with her. Two kitty litter trays (One plastic and one steel), kitty litter, food, all of her treats toys and grooming supplies. Miyako needs more attention than I am able to give her and labs done. I’ve taken her to the vet and she at the time had a UTI. They gave her prescribed cat food, which worked for quite sometime, then she started peeing again. My landlord is no longer allowing me to keep her. In the meantime she will stay somewhere temporarily and I’m hoping to rehome her to a wonderful home that can take care of her better than I can.

Story
Artemis is a fat, cuddly, sweet boy who was originally a TNR left sick. I brought him in and now do not believe that he will thrive outside on his own, the shelters and rescues haven’t been much help. I am losing my housing and unable to keep my fat baby. Please help me save him.
