Story
Squeek is about 7 years old. She was one of many feral kittens my mom took care of before she had to go into long term care. Squeek is super unique. She is a skinny little minnie, she is hugely shy, she is completely independent - which means she is not your typical cuddly cat. Squeek eventually will bless her new owner with her sweet connecting behavior, which includes coming up to you on the floor, flopping down, squirming around and will let you brush her, pet her and adore her. But she will not sit in your lap or cuddle in bed. She has come such a long way in her 7 years considering she has lived in a home with 5 other cats. I believe with the right cat lover and in a home with maybe one other kitty, Squeek will continue to come around and be that cat that a person is grateful that they had the chance to save her. She loves to sit up tall and will wrap her long tail around her and put her paws on it - so sweet. No vet shots as too traumatic for her to be handled.

Story
My girlfriend has had Gemini since she was a kitten. She was born August 2021 and has only had one owner until March 2025. I took over to help because Gemini is no longer getting along with the other cat in her home. Gemini has been known to spray and this is the main issue we're facing. Gemini is very vocal and territorial with other animals. She loves cuddling with people and is very attached and loving to people. Would likely do best in a single pet home or someone with experience in this issue. She went to a vet in Salida last year and was medically cleared. I have access to her microchip information.

Story
Mochi was born on September 1st 2020. He is your typical orange cat with a quirky personality and a love to sing you the song of his people. He was raised with a cat and a dog so he has tendencies of both. He loves to go on walks and lay in the garden when you're working outside. He also likes to sleep at the foot of the bed. Unfortunately, he has started to lash out at the dog and, as a result, has started acting out. I have spent a couple of years trying everything I can to help him adjust but it was decided that he would be better off in a quieter home without a dog. Once he is settled in a new home he will become the biggest lover/cuddle bug.

Story
We adopted Apollo when he was five weeks old and his mother had cut him off from nursing. He was neutered, declawed in the front, and had all of his first year shots. Apollo is now 4.5 years old, and I believe he has developed an anxiety issue. He is on the attack when anyone aside from myself and my son is here. He also attacks us at random times while we are minding our own business. I believe he needs a home with an experienced, cat-whisperer-type of person, where he is the only pet so he can feel safe and calm. He can be extremely loving, as well, and love-bombs me daily. The vet has been unable to update his shots since the first round, despite various methods at attempting tranquilization and sedation. If you believe you are the right person for Apollo, I will give you any leftover food we have, along with his cat tower and other supplies, if you want them. Due to his anxiety and attacks, he is not suitable to be around children.

Story
I got Dean from Pikes Peak Humane Society about 2 years ago. He’s 5 years old and the sweetest baby ever. He does take a long time to warm up to people but it is completely worth the wait. He likes catnip and belly rubs when he’s ready for them. Dean cannot be picked up, he does not enjoy it al all. He will come to you when he’s called and definitely tell you off if his bowl is empty. Please be patient with him, he takes time.

Story
I got Cocoa from adopt a pet. We were told that she was good with cats. He wants to be friends but she's not having it. She is a very sweet kitty. loves kids and is very gentle. She loves to sit on your lap and she will purr and cuddle. She is 5 years old and very healthy. Important to have only one cat family. When I got Cocoa, she wanted affection. There was no hiding under the bed or hiding of any kind. She was willing to be friends right away. You could not find a cat with a better temperament.
