Story
Starr is a love bug and loves people, but is still a great watch dog. She loves to get out and get exercise. She was rescued from the local pound. She has a crate, she isn’t crazy about being in it, but when given a nice treat she deals with it when she needs to be left alone. She’s very eager to please and knows sit, shake, other paw and down. She has lots of energy and thinks it’s her job to chase stray cats.

Story
She is a cuddle bug who wants to go on walks, hikes or just run errands with her person. She loves people, is five years old, a staffie mix and very healthy. She likes to learn new tricks and is food driven. She wants to sleep close to her person and would love to be allowed to snuggle on the couch, but will obey when told to stay down and lay in her own bed. Her breed mix is short and sturdy. She weighs between 37-39 lbs and has all of her shots. We think she would be happiest in a home that is active and doesn't mind bringing her with them when on errands or to their office if allowed. Perhaps someone that works from home. She does very well at dog day care too. She may be happiest as the only dog or #1 pet. She can be alone during the day, but might be anxious if it was too log or often. We adopted Zero during the pandemic when we lived in a much larger home. We've had to relocate to a smaller place creating tensions between her and our other dog.

Story
Helloooo! My name is Lincoln and you know I'm special when one of the employees here, who has seen hundreds of dogs come through HSNB and has her own dogs at home, fell madly, madly in love with me. Who wouldn't? She says "I love attention" (true), "love to give kisses" (check), and "melts to the ground and rolls over on his back when you go to pet him." (I'm down here!)I'm about 62 pounds, but my brain hasn't quite put together that I'm a big strong boy who just thinks I'm just a little lap dog. Anyone out there who can handle my giant dose of strength and sweetness? A sure handler who will accept all the love I have to give will be my best friend forever. Please visit https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-application/ to fill out an adoption interest form and make a date to meet.My $250 adoption fee covers my neuter, microchip, and all vaccinations, including rabies. See you soon! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 62 Age: 3yrs 3mths 1wks
