Story
Location: Granite Falls, MN **SPORT DOG POTENTIAL // ACTIVE EXPERIENCED HOME NEEDED** Hi! My name is Raider. I am a purebred American Bully (I'm embarked!) and am approximately 3ish years old and weigh 61lbs. I am a smart, happy boy ready to find my next adventure! So, sit down and relax while I tell you all about me! Let's start with the pawsitives- I really freaking looooveeee my people. I'm housebroken and crate trained. I know "sit", "shake", "lay down", "out", "around", "place" and "stay". I am also treadmill trained. Foster mom taught me how to play frisbee and I have competed in one UpDog frisbee competition and earned an award in novice division! I would love a home that would continue to play disc with me- either competitively or just for fun. I really like to do things that engage my brain and body- including tugging on the spring pole and even chasing the herding ball around the yard. I'm your do-it-all dog! I have high drive in the following areas: food, tug, ball, disc, possession, prey. I have medium hunt/search drive. While I have lots of work ethic and intensity, I have an excellent off-switch in the house and am an expert snuggler. I will happily binge all of your favorite TV show with you, no problem. Rest assured, you'll always feel safe with my macho presence and know I will alert you to visitors, rogue squirrels any other suspicious activity (when the cats do shifty things mainly). You can always count on me! You're probably asking yourself why such a great hambone like myself is in need of a home. I became available for adoption again after my pack-mate and I decided to have our own fight club... and unfortunately, we cannot reconcile our differences. I can't have a home with any other male dogs (submissive males *may* be ok). I want to be the man of my house! I live with three cats and don't pay them any mind. I get along with the female dogs in my home, but I don't appreciate them *excessively* invading my personal space. (The girl dogs in my house are stage 10 clingers). I do guard my food/toys/chews/crate from the other dogs, but not my people. Mom says this is easily managed, but I will need an experienced home to ensure my success. Outside of that hiccup, I need work on leash manners and emotion regulation. I am REALLY easy to live with at home, but I get overstimulated in situations outside of my element (waiting my turn to play, vet appointments etc.) and I would benefit from learning to navigate those big feelings appropriately. Foster mom has started working on this skill with me and she can provide educational training resources for my future home to help me be successful- so don't fret! Overall, I am a GREAT boy. I have lots of love and loyalty to give to someone and deserve the world. Would you give me a chance to be your forever? ** Raider is registered with AKC Canine Partners to participate in performance/companion events and his registration will be transferred to his new owner. Raider is a phenomenal dog who needs an experienced and knowledgable owner to be successful. Bull Breed/high-drive dog experience is strongly preferred. ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved.

Story
Are you looking for a go-with-the-flow, adorable and snuggly best friend to add to your family? Look no further, Robin (aka “Miss Honey”) is the gal for you! Things about me you might like to know: Breed: Sharpei/Terrier Mix Color: Tan/Black Size: 45 pounds Age: Approximately 3 years Activity level: Low/Medium Things I do in my free time: I am a pretty chill girl, I spend most of my day relaxing. I am easily entertained watching the squirrels run along the fence in the yard or chillin’ on the porch in the sun. Content chewing on a Kong or chew bone. The more indestructible the better. Things I know: I know how to sit for treats. I have basic house manners, and I respond well if I am corrected. Things I am working on: I could use basic training. I am learning not to jump on my human friends when I meet them. I am also learning that I do not have to lick my  human friends when I get excited. I need help realizing that the vacuum is not my enemy, I do try to go after it. For the most part my foster mom thinks I am pretty close to perfection. Kennel: I currently stay in a gated room at times when my foster family is at work. I love to sleep on my big cozy doggie bed. Word of warning, I do like to chew the stuffing out of toys and dog beds. As long as the dog bed has a blanket over it I will leave it alone. I am not kenneled at night. Potty training: Bonus! I am 100% potty trained. The home I am currently in uses a fenced yard. Kids: I currently am in a house with two older teenagers. Older respectful children would be fine for me. Dogs: I currently live in a house with on middle aged large breed male dog. I would be fine living with or without another dog. Cats: Unknown Car Rides: I am a great passenger, no car sickness for me. I love to ride in the passenger seat with my doggie seatbelt! Walking: I do great on leash. I do pull if I see a squirrel. I would love a walk a day, although there have been days when my foster mom is busy and I get along fine without it. She just makes sure I get some good play time outside. What to expect when you adopt me: You can expect to spend your days with a loyal, super cute best friend. Transitioning into my forever home should be smooth sailing! Additional information: I came to Minnesota from Texas. I was stuck in a shelter with 24 hours left of my life. Some amazing people knew that I was a very good girl and worked hard to get me out of the shelter into rescue. Thanks to “Spots Last Stop Canine Rescue” I am getting the chance to find my furever home. If you would like to meet Robin, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.
