She does have a knee luxation that could require surgery in the future. That would be left up to the adopter and their veterinarian if surgery is required. All puppies, large breed or small, require a commitment to raising them to be good dog citizens and training is absolutely necessary. We are looking for homes that have considered this are willing to make that commitment. *All rescues at FairyTails are fully ready to join your family! Our PETS come to you vet checked, Wormed, Blood panel (if needed) spayed/neutered, dental check up, heart worm checked, flea/tick & heart worm treatment given, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and fully professionally groomed! They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention. Story
Barkley and his brother Wally have been together since they were born. Just turned 1 this month. They're funny, sweet and very active. I'd love to keep them together. They love to run and need a large, fenced yard or farm setting. I won't consider an apartment or home without a fenced area. They're excellent guard dogs and will bark if they feel something is not quite right around the home. They will guard you all night as you sleep and as long as they have a puppy pad they will not make or have an accident. They are about 75% house trained. They've been around children but not many adults. They're quite shy as I found out when they had to be boarded. They didn't want me to leave them. They love each other so very much and rely on each other for playing and companionship. I have been diagnosed with arthritis and I need to find them a loving home before it is too late.
