Hero is looking for a new home due to housing circumstances. He was He is used to spending large amounts of time outside but having access to a warm home when they please. Hero has grown up with a close-knit family with adults & kids of all ages, but haven't spent much time with other people. He was surrendered with his sister Kira. They have warmed up to us here, as well as the idea of leash training (they have spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying nature but were trained without a leash...not a skill they will be able to learn again instantly so we have to keep them on a leash). Hero & his sister have lived apart in the shelter & both have done well. They do not have to be rehomed together...they can live a happy life apart.

Story
Hero & Kira are siblings who are looking for a new home due to housing circumstances. They were born on a farm but have lived a suburban life since puppies, enjoying the comforts of their own large room inside their home complete with crates & toys. They are used to spending large amount of time outside but having access to a warm home when they please. Hero & Kira have grown up with a closeknit family with adults & kids of all ages, but haven't spent much time with other people. They are warming up to us here & as well as the idea of leash training (they have spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying nature but were trained without a leash...not a skill they will be able to learn again instantly so we have to keep them on a leash). These two would love to go home together if possible. An ideal situation is a rural home with lots of access to safe, outside areas.

Story
Jagger was adopted in 2017 from a local animal shelter and is about 7 years young. Jagger is a blue heeler jack Russel terrier mix, he has a brown and black face but he is mostly white although he does have small black spots. Jagger is well trained (including crate trained) and does well walking on a leash. He is a goofy guy who loves playing fetch, tug-a-war, going for walks, cuddling and getting good boy treats. He was very good around children of all ages and does good in public environments. He is a very smart, loving, happy, talkative and playful dog. Jagger is very aware and alert of his surroundings. He shows strong desire to keep you safe.
