Story
Adoption Fee: $460, plus taxes Location: Foster Home Meet Gabby, she is a cattle dog mix who is extremely enthusiastic about life! This girl really loves her walks even though she came with very little experience with leash walking skills. In the beginning, she was all over the place and pulling with great gusto. Her foster family has tried a harness as well as a gentle leader and is making lots of progress with her! They are confident that a consistent training schedule will help her master her favorite activity! She had a very long ride up from Texas and at this point does not enjoy riding in the car, however with time and positive reinforcement, she could learn to love sticking her head out the window! Gabby is very smart and she will keep you on your toes. Since her foster family has been together she has learned sit, down, crawl and is working hard on stay and not jumping up. She maybe a little too rambunctious for younger children, but she would love to play with older kids! At this early stage in her training, she gets into mischief sometimes so her foster family is doing an amazing job with kennel training her when they leave the house. She is very playful, she loves her blue ball and is happy to bring it back to you but she is still working on learning to drop the ball after she returns with it. Gabby loves to run, run, and run! She would love you forever if you had a big backyard for her to frolic in! Gabby is a wonderful girl and loves her belly rubs, and any attention from you. She, in return, also loves to hug you! Gabby is about one year old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Gabby, please submit an application on Carver Scott Humane Society's website.

Story
Location: Maple Grove, MN Tesla arrived to rescue terrified and pregnant. Unfortunately her puppies did not survive, but now she is loving all that life has to offer in her foster home. Once she learned what it felt like to snuggle with her humans on the couch, she quickly realized it's her favorite thing in the world, and she will leap from across the room when she sees her foster family sit down on the couch - ready for their love. Tesla loves her people, and wants nothing more than love and affection from her family. She is constantly trying to get hugs and snuggles from her foster family (canine and human), and it is so sweet. She lives with 2 kids, ages 8 and 13, and she is great with them and their friends. However, she is uncomfortable with little kids that do not respect her boundaries. (I.e. Toddlers that climb on dogs and put their face in hers is not going to be a fit.) But she does wonderful with kids that demonstrate appropriate dog behavior - letting her approach them, and giving her time to build trust with them. She loves going on walks, and playing with her toys. Her first year of life was spent tied up to the outside of a house, so it is a natural instinct to protect her people and herself. On walks, she can be a bit protective of her family, so it's important to continue leash training to control her reactions. She is extremely treat motivated, and does a wonderful job when we work with her on it! She is relaxed, with medium energy overall, sleeping most of the day while her foster family works. She is potty trained, and kennel trained. She is silent in her kennel overnight, but does have some opinions to express during the day when alone sometimes, so shared walls may not be the right fit for her. Tesla enjoys playing with other dogs as long as she is given slow introductions. Her foster home has 4 other dogs, and she does great with all of them, after a very slow introduction period. Tesla shows a lot of interest in small critters, so we recommend no cats in her forever home. If you are looking for a pet that loves her people fiercely, check out sweet Tesla. She will fill you up with all her love! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD This is Bo, he is such a sweet guy who's looking for his forever home! He came into the rescue at about 4 weeks and is now 4 months He is still looking for his forever home! He would be the perfect addition to most any family. He does so well with dogs, cats and loves all people. He plays so nicely with little dogs (as he is a big guy). Bo is almost fully potty trained as well as kennel trained. He also does pretty well with walking on the leash! He would love a family to hangout with and snuggle. But would also love a family to interact with him and run around with him in the back yard. Bo loves to play soccer that has become his new found obsession and he could do it forever. He loves to play chase with the other dogs in the home and when he's all done he loves to come in and nap on the coach. Bo is an mazing pup and is in his prime to find his forever home. I'm not sure why he hasn't been adopted yet honestly! He is almost perfect. :) --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Vermillion, SD Hi! I'm really excited to meet you! Will you give me tummy scritches? I'm Laurel and I like to take long walks.... well... to anywhere. I also like to run too! Maybe we could be jogging buddies? I'm getting really good at this leash thing but squirrels look mighty fun to run after. I don't seem to be interested in chasing a ball or Frisbee though. I will, however, take whatever plushie chew toy you give me and be pretty happy! I seem to be pretty chill about other dogs once I get to know them but I will let you know if there are any shady ones walking by the house. I'm a pretty active gal, want to be my gym partner? ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Hi there! My name is Pippin and if you were with me right now, I would be running up to you with my tail wagging to give you kisses and snuggles! I am the friendliest puppy ever, and am very confident. Don't worry though, I am also good at following boundaries with my other dog friends :) I am very curious and love to play with toys and run around outside. I have been getting the hang of potty training, but since I am just a little puppy I will need some help in that department! Did I mention I love to play? I like to play with the dogs and kitties in my current home. I love them both and really like having companions around. No one compares to my human foster parents though! I will follow them around and try and get them to play with me by tugging on their pant legs :) It's cute, but my mom always asks me to stop since she doesn't want to step on me. Rightfully so, I usually listen well to "no"! She says I am so so smart that I have already gotten the hang of pottying outside, and if my parents don't take me outside I go on a potty pad. I will need some help, as I still have a couple accidents here and there since my bladder is so small. But my foster mom and dad say I am so smart they don't have any doubts that potty training will be easy for me in my new home! I get along with dogs and cats and am very good at respecting boundaries. I do still like to chew on things since I am a puppy, so really small kids that won't respect that I am trying to play might not be a good idea. I would love some kids to run around the backyard with though! I love to play with toys and humans and would like an active home to give me attention. I do sleep in a kennel at night and only wake up once! Sometimes I don't even wake up once but just like to get up early :) My foster parents can't be certain on how big I will get, but I am a pretty small guy right now so my foster mom can be pretty confident in saying that I will be under 50lbs! She does say that if you care about how big a dog will get, a puppy like me might not be the right fit since you never know how big we can truly get :) Are you looking for endless fun, snuggles, and adoration?? I am your guy! Apply to meet me today :) ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
