This doggy showed up at my house begging to be let in. I live on a corner and it was dodging cars all evening. In fear of it getting hit, I put it in her backyard with some food and water. My daughter posted her in the lost and found group and a friend of the owner messaged me informing her that the owner is in jail and no longer wants the dog. She then said it is up to me to find a new home for it so here we are. (You may growl here!) I called nearby no-kill shelters. There appears to be no room for her. The city MAY pick her up today but I’d rather she get placed in a home. Her name is Reign. She is an Australian Shepherd Lab mix and will be 7 months old on May 7th. She is up-to-date on shots, pretty well house-trained (no evidence to the contrary), and is kennel-trained. She is very cuddly and was raised with dogs and cats. I taught her a few commands (no jumping, sit, stay, etc., and she fast). She’s not an alpha and is very pleasant with my own dog. No signs of abuse.
