Story
Dodgel is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog Mix who, along with his siblings, has been under our care for over a year due to a now resolved court case. Despite their prolonged stay, Dodge and his siblings have maintained their lively spirits and are now ready to find their forever homes.Dodge is a dynamic and playful young pup. He is curious about the world around him and loves to explore his surroundings. Dodge is also quite affectionate and enjoys spending time with people, especially when it involves playtime or cuddles.Dodge is a smart dog who is eager to please. He has already begun learning basic commands and would benefit greatly from continued training to help him reach his full potential. Dodge is also a good jumper, so a secure yard or supervised playtime would be ideal for him. The shelter is willing to help pay for his training costs to ensure he gets the best start in his new home.Dodge would thrive in an active home with a family who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He would do well with other dogs, as he enjoys playing with his siblings. Dodge`s new family should be committed to his training and socialization to ensure he grows up to be a well-rounded canine companion.Dodge and his siblings have been together for over a year and are very bonded. While they can be adopted separately, they would also thrive in a home where they can stay together and continue to play and grow together. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
