Story
Meet Jett! Jett arrived the other day so we are just getting to know him. We know he is super friendly, plays well with other dogs (males and females), is great with kids, athletic, and very handsome! He was transported to us from an overcrowded shelter near Fresno, CA. This lucky little dog was a superstar when it came to traveling in the car for so many hours, all the volunteer drivers wanted to keep him because of his friendly nature. Jett attended a training session with Companioncanine.org and he did awesome! He is very trainable with or without treats, he wants to please his handler. Not only is he smart, but he is also the perfect size, weighing only 35 lbs! If Jett sounds like the perfect buddy for you put in your application today: https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/

Story
Tracker is a lively, enthusiastic, affectionate young dog who is ready to make somebody very happy! He came to us as a stray along with his sisters, Delilah and Denise, so he had things rough for the first several months of his life. However, this happy pup is not about to be defined by his past! Tracker is an enthusiastic, happy, affectionate dog. We can't understand why he hasn't been scooped right up! He walks on leash and is highly social with other confident dogs. He is the perfect dog for someone looking for an adventure buddy and best friend who will be there through thick and thin. Call the Ranch to meet Tracker today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       April 23, 2024, 3:49 pm

Story
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.   Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.   We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
