Story
Rosie (Rosario Dogson) is a sweet girl with loads of energy and love to give. I adopted her from a shelter last summer and she's estimated to be a little over a year and half old. I believe she needs a home with a large backyard and other friends to play with because she gets easily bored. A massive chewer that loves to surgically remove squeakers from toys, play fetch(even if she doesn't always understand to drop the ball), and play tug of war. She is a bit of a velcro dog but will sleep in her bed on the floor but would prefer to cuddle because she LOVES her snuggles. Has shown to not get along with cats though and may have an allergy. But she loves people and is always trying to jump for a hug.

Story
Hello, I'm Xena! I was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of my own, my owner was moving and couldn't take me with them. Because I'm a cattle dog I do have some of the breeds typical characteristics...including the attitude. A family that has experience with my breed would be fantastic! Ideally I need someone that will work on my behaviors with me and make me realize I shouldn't be so bossy. I'm a pretty shy girl at first but give me some time to warm up and I'll be your best friend. I'll need to meet you a few times until I feel comfortable. I love treats and tennis balls! I'd prefer an adult only home or one with older kids that can give me some space while I settle into my new home. Once I bond with you, I may have some separation anxiety if I'm left home alone. My friends here can explain more about how to manage that with me when you come to meet me :). I lived with a cat previously and I adored them. If I may seem like the girl for you, reach out to my friends here to come meet me! The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, PA Kennel License #02941, 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This poor puppy named Queso has been through a lot already. He was thrown out of a car and hit by the car behind. He was taken to the vet with a broken leg, and while he was there, he also contracted Parvo. Miraculously, he survived! They put a plate in his leg, but unfortunately, it was not strong enough and it broke. The only option left was to amputate his leg. He is only 4 months old and is such a sweet pup. Now, he is a tripod, but he will do well since he is young. If you want to adopt him, please note that you must live within an hour of the rescue. Apply at www.furryfeetrescue.com. Story
Meet Nova. We haven't been able to figure out why Nova has been passed over by adopters because Nova is a shelter favorite! Nova always has a smile on her face. She has a happy go lucky personality and is just a sweet snuggler. This smart girl loves cuddles, knows how to do a sit and give paw for a cookie. She would make a great hiking companion and then hang out with you at home. Nova is often found keeping the staff company during their lunch time. While they would miss her terribly, they agree that Nova deserves to have her own home and family to love. Nova gets along with other dogs and would do well with kids age 7+. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Nova is about 42 pounds and a year old. Put in your application to come meet & fall in love with this awesome girl! Story
Speck was found as a stray with a fairly new spay incision. The shelter down south suspected she may have been adopted from another shelter then abandoned when the adopter realized a puppy takes work. Speck had no collar or microchip and no one showed up to claim her. Calls to other local shelters produced no results so now Speck became an OSCAR girl looking for a new home. Speck is a very sweet girl. She loves people and gets along with other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Speck is about 6 months old and 19 pounds. Please help Speck find the loving family she deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals.
