Story
Tosh is a 21 mo, 29 lb Aussie mix who is a sweetheart in the calm of our home. However, she is overwhelmed by our urban neighborhood. She barks at vehicles, pedestrians, and other dogs. She is also reactive to our 3rd flr tenant who comes through our house, so he has to text ahead whenever he comes through, which is an untenable situation for all of us. Tosh was picked up as a stray in rural TN and taken to a county shelter last summer. She was heart worm positive, so she was placed in a boarding/foster setting for the duration of her treatment. Online, her personality was described as sweet. Tosh adjusted well to our household, including our cat, but we could not walk her due to her reactivity to busy streets. She is on Prozac, and we have been following the Spirit Dog program for reactivity. Knows basic commands; no chewing; no resource guarding. Tosh is making steady progress, but our tenant cannot keep texting his every move, and she would be so much happier outside the city.

Story
This wonderful girl was part of a neglect case and was forcefully surrendered. She is such a sweetheart despite the hardship of her young life. She is friendly to everyone she meets and likes kidd. She does have the Aussie energy so will need an active family to keep her busy. She will also need all the basic general training as she was kept outside. We don't think she has ever been inside a house so it will be an adjustment for her, please be patient. She also spills her food as she was fed by having food thrown to her. She doesn't know what to do with a dog bed and is protective over any toy/treat she is given since she was never given these either. Any family will love the joy and smiles she brings as she is just happiness in a puppy body. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
MERCURY Breed: Australian Shepherd Gender: Male Approximate DOB: 3/11/2019 Size: Medium Weight (Potential): 40 (40) Color: White and blue merle Health: IBS, General anxiety and separation anxiety, crystals in bladder, on prescription food for GI issues and daily medications to manage anxiety. Shedding: Moderate Grooming Needs: Moderate Spayed/Neutered: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unknown Good with Children: No Appropriate for city living: No A secure, physical fence is required. Adopters must live within 30 miles of King of Prussia, PA. Mercury is as sweet as he is handsome and at a young age he had to overcome quite a bit. He was born in a Pennsylvania puppy mill and rescued at 17 weeks of age. He was frightened and had no idea how to live in a home. Over time with a lot of veterinary care, we have found a diet that agrees with his GI system and have worked with our trainer and veterinary behaviorist to manage and treat his severe anxiety. He is a work in progress but has improved with the help of medication. H will likely need medication and prescription food for the rest of his life and will need someone to monitor the crystals in his bladder so he does not develop a blockage which can usually only be fixed with surgery if things get too severe. Mercury loves to play with toys and monitor the yard for "intruders" like birds and squirrels. He needs a very secure, solid 6-foot fence to contain him (he is a climber, jumper and digger) as he needs a yard to burn off his energy but gets a bit overwhelmed on leash walks (this is a work in progress, too). He will flash a huge smile when he greets you and will pretend that he is a tiny lap dog as soon as you sit down. He likes to watch TV but also is really good at catching a ball. Mercury needs a very loving and patient adopter who has an adult-only home and is willing to manage his medical and behavioral issues all while helping him build his confidence. He isn't a dog for the faint of heart, but he will make yours skip a beat as soon as he gives you a hug. *All dogs will go through a transition period after finding a new home and may need a “refresher course” in house-breaking. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bear is a 2.5 year old neutered male aussie/husky mix who weighs 65 lbs. Bear is looking for a new home after his family could no longer care for him. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car and had a broken leg. A pin was placed to stabilize the break as it healed, and Bear was kept on crate rest in his foster home. He was a model patient through his recovery and after months of rest he is as good as new now! The pin has been removed and Bear is now able to be the dog he was destined to be - a happy, playful, but also chill companion looking for love. Even though he can have bursts of high energy, he is relatively calm and laid-back. He has been fine with other dogs and has shown very little interest in cats. Bear loves to play ball and is an expert soccer ball dribbler. Bear loves to spend time with his people and has done well with older kids. He has the softest coat that begs for pets and a sweet personality that will draw you in. We adore this sweet boy and cannot wait to find him the forever family he so desperately deserves! Please help us find Bear the family he's been dreaming of!Interested in adopting?
