Story
Bruno is 2 yrs old, he is supposedly a purebreed Australian shepherd. Parents were on site when we got him and they were. We are moving internationally in the near future and it would be next to impossible to bring him with us. In addition he has behavioral issues. Main issue is that he is very food motivated, and will steal food at any and every opportunity. Even when he has open access to dog food. We have tried professionally having him trained, continued training... it seems to have limited effect. I don't think he inherited the smarts usual for the breed. For the right family, possibly a great pet, but he is not the right fit for us. Considering the food issue, I would not recommend him for households with small children, which Bruno views as small, mobile buffets. He is housetrained and knows all the general basic commands (sit stay come etc). Neutered, current on all shots. Everything will come with the dog. Food, feeder, bed, crate... everything.

Story
Annie's a total sweetheart who's all about cuddles and playtime! She's got tons of personality and gets along great with other dogs. She has never met a cat that we know of. Annie is amazing with kids! She does have a tendency to jump up eagerly for kisses so she may do better in a home with kids over about 7 years old. Of course, with training, she can learn not to jump up. Annie is very treat and food motivated. She almost has “sit” mastered and is almost perfect with her potty training. We believe she is an Australian Kelpie mixed with rat terrier. She’s estimated to be about 40 pounds fully grown. Annie is currently 17 pounds and 5 months old. She is spayed and vaccinated. If you are looking for a combo of sweet, sassy, and a whole lot of love - Annie is your girl! Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks. Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES. If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application.
