Meet Adaline! Adaline was nervous and hesitant to make friends when first coming to the shelter, but with a bit of extra time, some comforting words and extra tasty treats, Adaline slowly started coming out of her shell and showing her affectionate side! Despite her size, Adaline likes to keep moving throughout the day. She gets so excited when you show her the leash and harness for walks! She would love it if her new family could take her on trips to the park or beach and she may even be up for a short hike in the woods. Adaline is currently getting some much needed R & R in a foster home. She lives with three large breed dogs that are all very dog-savvy and have shown her the ropes. She hasn't been too into play so far, but is very curious and loves to sit and watch the dogs interact. She can be playful with toys, but her foster mom says that what she loves more than anything is to find a nice sunny spot and catch some Zzzs! The foster said she was a little nervous the first couple of days, but warmed up at her own pace. She currently knows commands such as sit, paw and speak; she sure can't wait to learn so much more with you! At the shelter, Adaline was excited to meet and engage with other dogs and may like a canine companion to help her adjust to her new home, preferably polite, savvy dogs instead of rambunctious oncs. Phoenix is a sweet Clefty English bulldog. 4 yrs old He’s a little hyper sometimes so I would not suggest small children. And probably not small animals he has caught / killed rabbits so he’s pretty fit and fast for an English bulldog. He would be protective of his best friend, but he is friendly and loves people. I don’t know how he would do with other dogs. He seems to get annoying to dogs he meets and bossy even w his mom Maddie. Maddie is also available for adoption. home must be uncluttered and would have to be careful not to drop small items that he could chew / swollow. I paid $12,000 for 2 foreign object surgeries in 2022. He doesn’t chew shoes furniture or anything around the house but He’s only allowed Benebones and the solid rubber tough toys. House trained crate trained. He really is a good boy and needs a happy, loving home. He could use a little training as far as jumping on people and coming when called. Loves tug-of-war, and sharing your chair. :)

We have made some progress with her potty training but she does still have occasional accidents in the house. I have one other dog, and my parents have 2, She has nipped at all 3 of them on separate occasions. I cannot chance having her biting the other pups or my Nieces when they come to visit. (She’s never been around kids since I’ve had her, However the home I got her from did have children. A Home WITHOUT pets/children is highly preferred/needed. She needs/loves lots of attention. She loves cuddles and wants to be touching your face allll the time.

He is a puppy mill rescue that is learning his social skills and basics. Rupert loves to follow his person around, wedge himself between you for attention, play fetch, and play with other dogs and play chase with the cats (in a puppy manner). Rupert is making great progress finishing up potty training, is crate trained, and will need some basic training as he continues to go from puppy to adult. Rupert has not had the real chance to be around children, so a proper introduction for both sides is required. Rupert is also looking for a home with a fenced yard as he is use to playing safely in a yard that is fenced in his foster home. She appears to have had a rough life so far. She looks like she's had a few litters in her life and she's constantly worried that people will be unhappy with her. She is nervous around dogs but interested in them. What she needs is a calmer home with people who will give her some time to feel safe. She's a burly girl (think bowling ball with legs!) who takes life pretty cautiously but she loves people and really needs someone of her own to love!

She also loves jumping up on the couch for some cuddles when she gets tired. Zoe does great with other dogs, both small and large. She does love to play quite rough but she listens very well when told to settle down. She has not been around cats before; however we feel she would do well with a proper introduction. Zoe does well with older children as well. Zoe is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. She is also crate trained and house trained.
