Story
Hello there! I'm Tulip and I'm a wonderful little bulldog mix. While I'm a short gal, I weigh and impressive forty pounds! I came to Heartland as a stray, so my exact age isn't known, but staff here have guessed I'm about two years old. I can be weary of new people, but I do warm up quickly. I enjoy treats and my love can be bought with a good snack or a spoon full of wet food. Once I know you and trust you, I'm pretty sure we will be best friends. I think that I would do well in a calmer adult home as new situations can be a little stressful for me. It takes me just a day or so to feel comfortable, but like I said, once I'm comfortable I'm going to be your best friend. I have met a couple of dogs here and I seem to like dogs my own size. Puppies are also great! I also LOVE to play with toys! I think play time should be a daily activity and I know it will help us to build a nice strong bond and it will help us to get to know each other. I would love to meet you! Please feel free to call or stop by if you have any questions about me! I know once we meet you will fall in love with me! I hope to see you soon! My adoption fee is $300, Benton County adopters have an additional licensing fee.

Story
Biggie is a 3 yr old tri-Merle English bulldog with all of his certificates. My family and I adopted Biggie when he was a puppy from a breeder. He is such a sweet, mellow guy who sometimes gets rambunctious. He is very protective which led him to not being socialized very well. He is amazing with my young children but I haven’t tried to bring other dogs or people around him. When guest are over I always put him away so no accidents happen. He used to be very kind so most likely my fault for not socializing him correctly. I’m sure with proper training and patients he’ll be back to being social and listening to commands. He was around and did fine with a cat we had previously. Usually left her alone with occasional play. My family and I are moving out of country and where we’re moving to said he’s technically an “aggressive breed” so this is why I cannot bring him and trying to adopt him to the perfect person/family.

Story
Oh my heck this boy!! Xander Lane will for sure keep you on you toes in the absolute best way. He is goofy, loving, full of personality, and will always keep you entertained and laughing. He's the type of dog that doesn't even necessarily need to be doing anything, just existing and he'll still make you smile with the cute little expressions he makes. One of my favorite things about him is how happy he is all the time and of course the way his tongue peeps out of his mouth. He instantly makes us smile and we know he'll make you smile too. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/MG2VrOkorno?si=lfTSvRujHmhikXsz Xander Lane is a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs and is full grown. He is the perfect fun size, not too big and not too small. He is exceptionally dog friendly and loves to make doggy friends. He is best friends with an 80 lb male that is just as goofy as he is and they love playing together. He also met a massive cane corse who is triple he size and he wasn't intimated by him or anything. All he wanted to do was play with him and Xander even took a correction from the big guy for playing too rough and did beautiful with the correction. Xander would love to be adopted out to a family that has another dog that he can play with and romp around in the back yard with. He also would do best in a home with a backyard. He loves to be outside, rolling around in the grass and just living his good ole doggy best life. Xander is medium energy that will require exercise and mental stimulation. He's not a marathon runner nor will he require that much exercise but a good romp in the yard, short run in the neighborhood, and I'm sure would also make a great adventure companion in the mountains. He will need to polish his leash skill and learn some basic obedience manners but he is treat motivated and eager to please. Which will help make any additional training that much more enjoyable. To our knowledge, he is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in his forever home. We are willing to test Xander Lane with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Buddha is the ultimate couch potato and snuggler. He loves to swim and snuff out critters. He loves anything outdoors, camping etc. He is very independent and enjoys being #1. Buddha would be perfect for someone that doesn’t have another male dog in the home. He has the tough guy mentality. He blends into almost every environment that he has been introduced to. He chill with kids and cats. He likes to do his own thing. Give him a blanket to curl up in and he’s happy. He’s been a free range guy since day one so he doesn’t have great leash manners. If you’re looking for a sweet lap dog, Buddha is your guy.

Story
Otis was born in our home and has been with us his entire life. He is a very good boy, but needs a lot of attention. He does not do well with little kids because of the loud and high pitch noises. He does fine with my kitties, but I couldn’t tell you if he will do okay with other cats. He will need to be the only dog, as he doesn’t socialize well with other dogs and can be perceived as aggressive instead of playing rough. He is not an aggressive dog by any means, but is very excitable and has a ton of energy. I have medical issues and am forced to move, and will not be able to keep him in my new living situation.
