Story
Bodhi is ready to look for his forever home. Bodhi is an 8 month old Beagle/Bulldog mix who came from the Amish when he got too old to sell. He has been in foster for about a month now and is fitting in nicely. Bodhi is a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. His foster mom states he is housebroken and crate trained. He is a hoarder of things so if you can’t find anything just look in your sofa cushion. Bodhi also plays well with other dogs but does like to chase cats but only to play. Story
Meet Alfreda aka Freida! She is a lovable cuddly meatball. Freida is a 3 year old English Bulldog who was surrendered by a commercial breeder. Freida enjoys running around the yard in short bursts of course. She loved the snow and rolling around in it! She is even starting to play with toys. Freida loves people and wants to climb on top of you for love. She is full a snorty lovebug and is full of silly bulldog antics. Freida has been spayed and is UTD on vaccines. Frieda has short little bulldog legs so steps are difficult for her. She has learned to use the ramp that is outside so that she get up and down the steps. Freida is working on housebreaking and is making good progress. Freida is fussy about where she potties. She will only go on grass. She needs to run around a bit before she goes. Freida is crate trained and goes in by herself when she wants to sleep. Freida is on a little bit of a diet as she is a little overweight. She's lost 3 pounds so far! Freida would do best in a home with no small children under 8 as she will try to cuddle up and may knock small children over. Freida is being fostered in Schuylkill County so any potential adopters will have to travel to meet her. If you believe that Freida is a good fit for you, please apply at https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt. Zoe's House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
We are excited to announce that Penelope is finally available for adoption! Penelope is a darling bully mix that was transferred to us from a high-intake shelter in Philly, where she was picked up as a stray. When she arrived she was very pregnant. Penelope since gave birth to 10 healthy puppies and has done a brilliant job raising them! But now she’s ready to move on to focus on enjoying a new future of her own. Penelope is about 3 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. She is a delight to be around! She is affectionate and well mannered—an all around great dog. We aren’t sure yet how she is with other dogs or cats, but we think she’d be good in a home with children. Penelope has put so much work into raising 10 healthy babies that it’s time that she deserves some pampering. Apply for this sweetheart at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Story
Meet Bria the special needs English Bulldog. Bria has Spina Bifida and is looking for a special adopter that will understand and take care of her needs. She is about 5 months old now. She has no use of her hind legs so she needs to be either in what is called a drag bag or a wheelchair. Spina Bifida dogs are usually incontinent and that is the case with Bria. She is a diaper dog. There are so many positives to caring for a dog like this - you don't have to go out in the weather for potty breaks! Bria is a very typical bulldog and needs structure in her life.  If you are interested in adopting visit our website www.outcastrescue.com to submit an applicationMarch 25, 2024, 3:19 pm

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.2/24/24 Still available! 2/4/24 *Bonded pair*.  Shortbread (brindle) and Poundcake (brown) are absolutely precious! These little girls are 4 months old. They were surrendered to our rescue by the breeder because they both have Spina Bifida. They have no mobility issues at all- the only symptom is that they are both bladder and bowel incontinent. They will always have to wear diapers. The upside is that you don't have to worry about house training them! These are probably the easiest pups I've ever had. They don't get into things, not big chewers, easy to correct, and they love to snuggle, but if you can't snuggle, they will find a soft spot to snuggle with each other or play together. They are just as sweet as can be, and you have to admit, they are incredibly cute in their little diapers and suspenders! Even though they are still just babies, they are old souls. Despite the diapers, they are very easy to care for. We have them sleep in a crate together, without their diapers, on a grid, so their pee/poop goes under them, and they aren't sitting in it. In the mornings, they eat in their crate, then about 30 min after eating, I put their diapers on them and they come out for the day. I usually only change them one time throughout the day. Then, at night, I remove their diapers and put them back in their crates to eat dinner, and they are perfectly content to go to bed and rest for the remainder of the night. They love to go outside on nice days and explore the yard, but it should be noted that as English Bulldogs, they should never be allowed to stay outside on warm days due to their increased risk for heat stroke. They love being picked up and held or just talked to. They are very affectionate, but not at all demanding. They must be adopted together and stay together. Before applying, please think about whether you will want to deal with diapers on 2 dogs for the next 10+ years. While they are very easy, it is still a major commitment, and I don't want them to ever be separated or booted outside due to their adopter getting frustrated. So please put a lot of thought into whether you are ready for that kind of commitment. They are not free, nor will they be a deeply discounted adoption. Even though they have Spina Bifida, they are still wonderful, and I want them to go to someone who knows their worth and will love them, diapers and all. They are special to me and can stay here with me for however long it takes to find them the perfect home. Please private message for info on the adoption fee. They are up to date on vaccinations and I have had them spayed and microchipped.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am FridaysPort Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
