Meet Altoona! Altoona is a 8 month old male Sheepadoodle. This animal is coming up on a transport to the NYC Area THIS Saturday, April 27th and is looking for a foster home to go into. There are multiple shelters down south that are overcrowded and Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue partners with these shelters to move the animals into foster homes in the North East before they are adopted into their forever family homes. What does it mean to be a foster? The first, and most important, responsibility is to provide a caring and safe home environment. There are some very specific guidelines that we will share with you that will keep everyone safe and healthy. From basic food and water, quarantine periods, and where you can or cannot take your foster, our Foster Handbook and Foster Mentors are fantastic resources. Depending on what type of animal you're fostering, you'll need some things in advance. These items may include a crate, puppy pads, or food and water bowls but we have a large foster network that helps share supplies! Rocket is a three year old Neuter English sheepdog he is very well trained to go outside he does not do anything indoors. He is allergic to chicken.I am looking for a new home for Rocket because Starting next month I will be starting school full time. I had Rocket since he was 3 years old so he is very attached to me . Looking for a new I do recommend there i e male figure in the house because Rocket seems to not always follow the females direction I also recommend that he does not go to a home where there is kids I have a toddler at home and he seems to get very jealous when I focus on my toddler and not on him no aggression. He is a long hair breed so maintenance everyday is needed . I do think he needs a home with lots of space and he loves car rides .

Meet Ethan a friendly boy with a gorgeous tan/black coat! Ethan is one of the four siblings who were found on a street in South Korea at just 3 months old in July 2021 and sent to a high-risk city shelter. Luckily rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, the puppies started living with numerous dogs in the private shelter. Ethan was fortunately given a chance to live in a temporary foster home during his puppyhood and experienced social learning. It has been already 2 years since he returned to the shelter, but Ethan still remembers how nice living in a sweet home was and is now eagerly searching for his forever home!
