Visit IZZY now in the main room at Catnip Cat Cafe! Walk-ins are only available if not sold out. Please guarantee your spot with a paid booking: https://catnipcatcafe.com ***Reservations Required / Limited Space*** +++++++++++++++++++++++ Friendly, Affectionate, Loyal, Gentle, Playful, Curious, Smart, Funny, Quiet, Loves kisses Here’s a group of six (6) siblings that went from under their rescuer’s shed with a feral mom at four (4) weeks of age to living indoors —TOGETHER— for three (3) years. Unfortunately, family circumstances changed unexpectedly, and this feline family is no exception. So FAN is helping to adopt them out; it would be great if they went to new homes in pairs, but it’s certainly not required. A warm bed, good food and a loving heart is all they really want. Oh, and toys… and snacks… and great TV shows. The family of SIX SIBLINGS, from most bold and social to shyest: 1. Calvin, the Social Butterfly - ADOPTED 2. Kenny, the Mojito Kitty - ADOPTED 3. Teddy Bear (yes, he’s a Teddy Bear!) - ADOPTED 4. Princess Gray, the name says it all - ADOPTED 5. Yoda, there is no try, but there is Bashful Boy - IN FOSTER HOME 6. Izzy, Shhhhy Sister (shhhh!) - AT CATNIP CAT CAFE They’re all very friendly and are available to meet at Catnip Cat Café or in their temporary foster homes. The kitties enjoy toys and laying in homy sunbeams and fluffy beds. They enjoy men, women, and respectful children. They're calm, dog-friendly, tolerant of nail trims and handling by handsy vets, and they're litter box trained. They don't panic when the vacuum comes out, but all will find a hiding spot until the monster goes away again. They've never bitten, nor are they food aggressive or hoarders. They all enjoy scratching posts and climbing cat treehouses, a lot! Izzy (female) Soft dove gray kitty with fawn undertones especially on her belly and undercarriage, Izzy is the most shy out of the group. She enjoys loves, but she's also happy to watch everything from a distance. She doesn't see the need for dogs, and they slightly offend her catty sensibilities. When she's playful, she likes string toys and the occasional ball toy. She's fine being picked up and loved on, and will stay with you if you sit down with her. She enjoys her back and neck being stroked. She's just a low-key kind of girl that would love to watch Netflix with you. All our adoptable cats and kittens are: — spayed / neutered — vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP) — microchipped — tested for FIV & FeLV diseases — parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention) — provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues — conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? 1. Story
CHARACTERISTICS active, amusing, bashful, cute, fun, gentle, goofy, graceful, happy, healthy, independent, mischievous, playful, quiet, quirky, shy, silly, smart, soft, sweet Amanda is easy-going, good-natured, and gets along great with her other feline friends and often snuggles with her BFF Sophie (see her profile and consider adopting the pair for a purrfect feline family!). From her foster caregiver at the FAN Rescue Sanctuary: "Amanda is very playful; she just loves to chase the broom as you sweep. She loves being petted, but she's shy and has to get to know you first before trusting you. If she were in a forever home by herself or with one other cat, she definitely could become a lap kitty - particularly if treats are involved! She's inquisitive, endearing, and sometimes silly - she loves rolling on her back with her tummy out. She loves to meet the new cats that come to the rescue sanctuary and always checks out the scene to make sure everything is in order. Amanda will always come out to greet and rub against you, and she enjoys just hanging out nearby people. Amanda doesn't really want to be picked up, most likely because she was a feral and slightly older when she was rescued (8 months). I predict this may change once she gets to know her family. Amanda LOVES chicken baby food from a jar and will often hop into your lap if she knows that you have some to share. She's a stunning dilute calico with pretty light green eyes. Not much is known about her backstory but whatever may have happened to her in her past has not prevented her from wanting love and being open to socializing." AMANDA has been working in Foster-care on her socialization skills, and she’s now ready for adoption. Here's a little explanation in poetic form from our team: I May Never Be A Lap Cat - Ode to the Independent Feline I may never be a lap cat, or snuggle by your face; I’m quite aloof and lovely, but I’ll beautify your space! I want to be your kitty; just don’t hold me tight. If you try to kiss me, I might put up a fight. As a baby kitten, I had no human cuddles. Now I need your patience, though I can’t reward with snuggles. I won’t be good with children; they scare me just a bit. They run around and grab me; while I prefer to sit. I’m an independent feline, but I need your love and care. I want to live inside with you, but I need my own chair. I will keep you company on long and winter days. I’ll sit and watch you as you work - I might decide to play. I may let you come closer, once you earn my trust. I’ll definitely eat your food, and good treats are a must! So won’t you take me home with you and give me lots of space? And time to be more comfortable and roam about your place? You can worship and adore me, and I will love you too. But I am not a lap cat, and that will have to do. All our adoptable cats and kittens are: — spayed / neutered — vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP) — tested for FIV & FeLV diseases — parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention) — provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues — conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption INTERESTED IN ADOPTING? 1.
