Pitty Paws Bully Rescue's adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Adoption applications - www.pittypawsbullyrescue.org/adopt-a-bulls, click on the words Adoption Form and choose the name in the drop down.

2.

Meet the Pet

After receiving your application we will contact you to set up a meet & greet, can be virtual if needed.

3.

Home Check

This can be done virtually, or when scheduling a meet & greet.

4.

Pay Fee

Pay any adoption and/or transport fees due.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

Adoptions are typically finalized at the Petsmart in Victoria Texas except for out of state adoptions and will be emailed for signature.

6.

Take the Pet Home

Please give your new family member sufficient time to decompress and get settled in, remember 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months.

Dogs listed are physically located in Victoria Texas and are available for transport to anywhere in the United States and Canada with approved application.
Adoption Fees are $150-200. Health Certificate to travel outside of Texas are $80. Transport fees are additional and run between $275-350.

About Pitty Paws Bully Rescue

Pitty Paws Bully Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue. We are a volunteer-operated organization which means that 100% of the funds donated go directly to the dogs in our care. All donations are tax deductible.
PPBR is focused on community outreach, education, and socialization of local pit bulls, bully mixes, and their owners/caretakers and foster parents.
Their mission is to end the negative stigma of pit bulls and bully breeds and to be true ambassadors of the bully breed by promoting responsible dog ownership.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
