We are a small Texas foster-based non-profit rescue saving furry lives from high-kill shelters, the streets, abandonment, and/or surrender. Our mandate is to place them in loving families where they will live a meowjical life.
The state of Texas, Southern US, Midwest, New England, NY, PA, ME, MA, NH, & VT. Occasionally Canada and Europe.
Adoption steps
- Submit Applicationwww.soscatrescue.org/adopt
- Approve ApplicationWe require drivers license, proof of address, 2 references, vet records, backup caregiver, vet referral, and/or landlord approval
- InterviewBefore we approve adopters we will interview each applicant.
- Meet the PetConnect adopter with foster via Facebook Messenger. Foster arranges Meet and Greets.
- Sign Adoption ContractSign final adoption contract. Enjoy your new pet. We provide post adoption support!
- Pay FeeAn adoption link will be sent to donate.
- Take the Pet HomeOnce contract has been signed and fee paid, then we can release the cat to go home.

We can arrange transportation to many states along the east coast, through Southern US, the Midwest, New England, PA, WI, ME, NH.
