"It is a man's sympathy with all creatures that truly makes him a man. Until he extends his circle of compassion to all living things, man himself will not find peace." ~Albert Schweitzer
You see them sunning on porches, hiding in the shadows of office buildings, and lingering outside barns. They live on the fringes, cautious, careful, and seldom venturing close to humans. They are called alley cats, barn cats, tomcats, and street cats. Born outside, these unsterilized cats form colonies, making homes wherever they can. Tomcats prowl for mates, females become pregnant, and the cycle of reproduction continues. But what if there were no new kittens?
The O'Malley Alley Cat Organization, is working to make that a reality in Angelina County. Through Trap~Neuter~Return (TNR), a low-cost humane program that is reducing the number of stray and feral cats in communities nationwide.
Join us in our fight to change the plight of our community's stray and feral cats.

Additional adoption info
Our priority is to place our cats in loving homes by matching them to the personalities of their new owners. In order to assure proper placement, all potential parents must fill out an application.
When you adopt from O'Malley you know you will be inviting into your family a healthy, well-socialized new member who has been loved and cared for by a volunteer foster family who is familiar with the cat?s personalities, quirks, and special needs. Many of our cats have been fostered with dogs, cats and children.
Our adoption fee is only $45 (other donations are happily accepted)!
All of our cats have received the following medical care, which averages $125 per cat:
Vaccinations appropriate for the age of the cat, including feline leukemia, distemper, and rabies with certificate.
Unless otherwise noted, all of our cats have tested Negative for Feline Leukemia & FIV (feline aids).
All cats are checked for worms, fleas, ear mites and treated as necessary.
Adult cats in our care have already been spayed or neutered.
