Pocono Greyhound Adoption is a 501C3 all volunteer greyhound adoption group whose mission is to provide education to the public about retired racing greyhounds, their desirability as pets, the availability of these dogs for adoption, raise funds for this and the purpose of providing for the welfare of retired
racing greyhounds by assisting in their placement in suitable homes and giving ongoing
support to the greyhound and its new family.

We serve the northeast Pennsylvania and northwest NJ area including the Poconos, the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area, Warren County NJ as well as Northampton, Carbon, and Lehigh counties in PA. Contact us and if we need to we will refer you to a greyhound adoption group near you.
Additional adoption info
Our application can be obtained on our website. Fill it out and mail it along with a $100.00 deposit. The adoption fee is $300. The $100.00 will be returned in the event the adoption does not work out. We will check references and do a home visit.
