About Montgomery City Animal Shelter/Project Precious Paws
Project Precious Paws was founded in July 2010 by a small group of dedicated animal rescuers who had a passion for helping find permanent homes for abandoned, stray, or relinquished animals. We were primarily foster based at that time. From October 1, 2015 to 2019 we ran we the City of Montgomery Animal Shelter. Currently we no longer running the shelter but we work to get homes for the animals taken there.
We also have a low cost spay/neuter program and help with animal issues in the county like lost and found and rehoming.
