The Feral Companion Dog rescue in Saint Louis, MO

We have noticed that feral and shy dogs are considered "Unadoptable" by many shelters. We highly disagree. We take the time needed to give these pups the confidence they need and have a second chance living a full and social life. We love seeing their transformations and cant wait to help more!

Rescue FAQs

The Feral Companion is a rescue that focuses on saving feral, shy, and special needs dogs across the nation. We rescue rehabilitate and socialize them and get them ready for adoptive, loving homes.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $150. That includes endless access to our internal feral socialization group. We do require an adoption agreement be signed, home visits, and animal introductions. We offer a 10 day acclimation period for the dog to get used to its new home!

Because we are working with shy dogs we adopt locally so that we can make sure the adoption is successful and we can provide support.
