We require a completed application, veterinarian reference and a home visit prior to approving an applicant.
After you send your application someone from the Along Came A Rescue Committee will review it. It is our goal is to find a safe and happy forever home for every dog and cat and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we review your application.
DOG Adoption fees:
$275 for puppies under a year
$175 for adult dogs under 6
$100 for senior dogs
DOG Adoption includes:
Spayed or Neutered
Age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, Bordetella and Rabies
Tested for heartworms OR treated (if positive)
Microchip
De-wormed for any internal parasites
All dogs are all on a monthly heartworm and flea medication
CAT Adoption fees:
$150 for kittens under a year
$100 for adults over a year and under 8
$75 for cats in foster care for longer than a year
$50 for seniors over 8 and kitties with special needs.
CAT Adoption includes:
Spay or Neutered
Age appropriate vaccinations including FeLV, FVRCP and Rabies
Tested for feline leukemia and feline AID virus
Microchip
De-wormed for any internal parasites
All cats are on a monthly heartworm and flea prevention
