Basic Information About This Opportunity

Title: VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Cat Socializer at KITTY CENTER (Bountiful, UT)
Expiration date:

Description

f you are friendly, outgoing and love companion animals - and are in the Layton, Roy, Ogden, Bountiful UT area - we have great volunteer opportunities for you. Please note that ANBAR offers different time commitments and requirements depending on the volunteer opportunities. In general, we require a service commitment of 1 year minimum, and at least 8 hours per month (2-hour weekly shift).

Kitty Center volunteer times are available seven days a week, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, at two-hour schedules.
As part of ANBAR's Kitty Center Team, you will help clean rooms, feed and socialize kittens and cats, assist in administrative tasks, and prepare the Kitty Center each day. You help create a loving, healthy environment for our animals in the Kitty Center as you play with, pet, brush, talk to and give attention to our pets until permanent homes are found. These types of volunteers are especially needed when we take in feral cats who have had little previous contact with humans.

Note: Online Volunteer Applications will only be accepted. http://www.anbrescue.org/volunteer-application.html

Minimum Age: 18 years old. ANBAR also accepts as volunteers those participating in student community service activities, student intern projects, corporate volunteer programs, and other volunteer referral programs, including Family opportunities (children between the ages of 12 and 17 together with an parent/legal guardian present), that will meet a current need we have. Family and Group Projects will need to be discussed on a case-by-case basis with our Volunteer Coordinator. For more information about A New Beginning Animal Rescue, visit our website www.anbrescue.org

If you need court-ordered community service hours, please see the Community Service page.
