Meet Rocco! This sweet 1 year old pup is ready for his happily ever after! Rocco was found wondering the streets a few months ago and taken in by one of our volunteers. He has since completed the training program and is looking for his forever family!  Rocco would thrive in an active home that will keep him exercised! Being a young Shepherd mix he would not thrive as a couch potato. His favorite thing ever is playing ball! He could do that for hours!  This guy is good with other dogs, great with older, active kids and would love to join your family!  Rocco is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and HW negative. Meet Iris and check out her amazing transformation from starved and scared to confident and stunning!This beautiful happy gal was found In very rough shape. She weighed in at 42 lbs and pretty much hairless. Iris spent the last 6 months getting healthy.Iris was on a very strict diet to help her gain weight in healthy increments with some crate rest. Her foster family has spent a lot of time helping her learn to be a loved dog and live her best healthy life. Iris is a special dog, she gets along with all the dogs in her foster home and loves to play. Her favorite friend is her foster dog sister Evie who is also a German shepherd. She loves kids and takes treats so gently. Iris has a tendency to jump on people for a big German Shepherd hug. She would do best in a home with Breed experience. Iris would love a fenced yard so she can run free and the fence needs to be 6 ft tall. She doesnt love being left alone. Meet Loki! His foster family picked him up as a stray. Loki is a beautiful, smart German Shepherd that is now fully up to date on all of his vetting. Loki is great on a leash, great with the family cat, house trained and doing well with other dogs. He doesn't understand children and needs to have an adult-only (or children over 15) home. Loki wants to protect his house and needs slow introductions to new people who arrive. He's a great dog who needs patient adopters that are willing to work with him and develop his potential. Say hello to DINO! This bundle of joy came into the rescue and stole everyone’s heart immediately. His kind endearing eyes will make your heart melt. Dino was a puppy that was found by a wonderful person at the person’s place of employment. He fed Dino daily and allowed him to sleep in his car on his lunch breaks. Dino remained loyal and stayed around the place of work until they reached out for help from the rescue. To this day he loves cars and feels very safe from the outside cruel world inside of one. Dino has now been placed in a loving foster home and is learning to play wonderful with the foster’s big dogs and puppies that are fostering with him half his size. Dino is doing great in a crate and potty training. This guy catches on really quick. He is so appreciative of having a safe environment to thrive. He will lay on you or keep his head in your lap forever if you will allow. Personality: Dino is goofy, energetic, and playful! He does well with correction. Dino would be great in a home with another dog to keep showing the ropes of puppy life. He is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where he can grow to be a wonderful life long family companion. Once adopted Dino will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. I do really well in my crate and don’t mind spending some time there to relax. I’ll bark now and then, just to let you know what’s going on — but nothing excessive. I’ve met a few other dogs in my foster home. I mostly do my own thing, but I can be a bit particular about which pups I vibe with so slow and gentle introductions to other dogs so I feel comfortable would be best. I haven’t been around cats or kids yet to know how I would do around them. I’m just learning what toys are — I’ve started to enjoy chewing on a bone, but I’m still figuring out what to do with things like balls. I love being petted and getting attention from my people. I also look pretty majestic if I do say so myself — I’ve got a shiny coat, and when I run in the yard, I glide like a total showstopper. I might come off a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I want to be brave! I like to hang back, watch the action, and then come up with my own clever way to join in (usually smarter than whatever my sisters did, if I do say so myself!). I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids. I enjoy being held and cuddled—even if I don’t always know how to ask for it. Once I trust you, I’ll happily soak up the love. Like any puppy, I’m still learning the house rules, so I’ll need to be crated when you leave. Luckily, I actually like my crate—it’s my go-to spot when I need a nap or just want a little quiet time to recharge. My favorite treats are canned puppy food or a teeny tiny taste of cat food (delicious!). I’m not big on flashy toys yet, but give me a good chew toy for my growing puppy toofers, and I’m a happy girl. My favorite thing?
