Not good with kids, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
We got her from an individual who was rehoming them but failed to mention her true personality and behaviors. She is a sweet cat that loves all of the cuddles, she will just need some extra time to warm up to you as she is very shy and skittish at first, due to how her past owners were treated her. She doesn’t like kids, she will hiss at them and will hide from them all day which prevents her from getting out to eat, drink, etc but she is good with other cats. She is 6 months old and up to date on shots, we have papers if needed. She just doesn’t deserve to be in a environment she’s not comfortable with and want her to find her final forever home where she feels safe, comfortable, and happy.

Story
Oh Mr. Larry is a major hunk of love ❤️! Don't let his resting grumpy face fool you 😂. Why this boy was ever left to fend for himself on the streets, we will never understand 💔. He found a home that just knew he was asking to be saved and that is how Mr. Larry was welcomed into our rescue! This boy is extra sweet without a mean bone in his body. He will steal your heart 🥰

Story
Meet Cranberry! Cranberry is a gorgeous, 1-year-old dilute tortie with a soft personality and a sweet heart. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll become your loyal companion and constant shadow! Cranberry loves to circle around you for pets and, within a day or two, will be snuggling by your side and asking for belly rubs. Cranberry was originally adopted with her sister, Raspberry, into a home with other pets. The busy environment was overwhelming for her, and she was returned to HART after showing signs of stress. Since moving to a foster home as the only cat, she has blossomed into an affectionate and delightful companion. She even has a cute habit of "chatting" with her humans! Cranberry is okay with calm dogs, but she would likely thrive best as the only cat in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention. She is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to find her forever home. Could Cranberry be your perfect cuddle buddy? All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

Story
We don't know where Piña's story began and how many People have failed this sweet girl, but we do know that we were called to rescue her, at 13 years old, because her current family "got a new cat" and couldn't take care of her anymore 💔. She came to us drooling so bad, her coat had lost her lustre and her spirit sad... she had to have 23 teeth removed right away. She was in so much pain... this poor old girl. She has been failed... but no more. Through all of the pain in her journey, she has stayed so so sweet! She is truly amazing and will melt your heart. She is healthy, has some pep in her step and her coat has life to it again 💕! We are so excited to have her a part of our rescue! Piña deserves a happy peaceful loving next chapter ~ never to be failed again 🙏🏻

Story
Red is a loving kitty with a face that says “back off,” and eyes that plead, “please love me.” He wants affection deeply—but instead of meowing or cozying up like other cats, he’ll just sit and stare at you. Not in a creepy way (okay, maybe a little), but in that quiet, hopeful way that says he’s trying to figure out how to ask for love without actually asking. Eventually, the wall cracks: a head butt here, a slow flop there, and suddenly you’re in the presence of a cat who loves hard, just quietly. Red may look like he’s got his guard up, but really, he’s just a softie trying to be understood. Red would thrive in a calm home where he can continue learning how to love out loud. If you’re looking for a cat with a soft heart and soulful eyes, Red’s waiting to meet you.
