Not good with kids,
Story
Microchipped, DOB: May 27, 2020 Meet Buddy, a sweet and affectionate boy who just wants to spend his day snuggling. Buddy came to Toronto Cat Rescue as a stray who needed some TLC, so not much is known about his past. It took him a couple of days to accept treats and pets, but it soon became clear that Buddy is a people loving cat who enjoys following his humans from room to room asking for pets and cuddles. Buddy will head butt your hand to let you know that he wants head and chin scratches, and he will turn into a purr machine and flop on his back if you pet him long enough. He likes to sleep in bed at night and sometimes even snuggle under the covers. Buddy would do well in a home where he can spend time with his people and receive the love and attention he craves throughout the day. As friendly as he is, Buddy is still learning how to communicate his boundaries. He has improved to the point that his foster mom doesn’t have to worry about upsetting him anymore but it may take him a minute to warm up to a new person. He may swat if overstimulated and for this reason he might not be the best fit for a home with children. He can also be jumpy around loud noises like traffic, vacuums, hair dryers, etc. so he would do well in a quieter space where he can really let his true cuddly self shine. Buddy is definitely an explorer and would love if his forever home had a cat tree, window space, and plenty of time to play with his favourite wand toy. Because he is so curious, his new owners will have to watch the door when they come and go as Buddy is often eager to see what’s outside! It is unknown how Buddy would behave in a home with other animals, so a single-pet household would likely be the best option for now. If you're looking for a gorgeous boy to shower in love and affection, Buddy could be the cat for you!

Story
Peaches Fostered in Oakville, ON Spayed, vaccinated & chipped. Age: ~6 years Sex: Female Breed: Domestic Medium Hair mix The only thing you’ll find in this can of Peaches is sweetness! If you’re looking for a gentle grown-up kitty to call your own, keep on reading. We think Peaches might be the match for you! This darling girl was found hiding under a shed with her kittens in Peterborough. Shy but hugely affectionate, Peaches adjusted quickly to life with humans and showed absolutely no aggression – not even a hiss! – making us certain that this was no feral feline. She’s ready to live the quiet, wonderful life she deserves. There is so much love in this gorgeous orange lady. To see it, all you have to do is pick her up and she’ll start purring like a tiny little motor. How can your heart not melt with her contented rumbles in your arms? For assurance, Peaches is spayed, and has been cleared of all her health issues and is happily FIV/FeLV free. Did we mention that Peaches is a bit of an amateur ornithologist? Peaches is a fan of lounging by the window, avidly watching the comings and goings of the birds outside. Being a bit on the shy side, this peach is fearful of loud noises, and cautious of jumping or climbing. However, she’s learning how to build her confidence and seeing her progression has been a joy for her foster family. Purrfectly litter-trained, Peaches loves treats, snacks, and mealtime, so we’re happy to report she’s gaining back weight at a steady pace. And when it comes to the company she keeps, Peaches is an easy friend: great around other cats and fine (though timid!) around dogs. She absolutely adores people, including kids (so long as they’re careful not to make very sudden movements). We can’t stress just what a sweetheart this beautiful orange fluffball is. She’s come so far with her confidence already, and we’re certain she’s sure to blossom with the love and comfort she so deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle grown-up kitty to call your own … look no further, and pick Peaches! *Peaches is Cookie & Crumble’s mama* Apply to adopt now: https://form.jotform.com/211695648007258 Adoption fee is $300

Medium Litter trained?yes Behavioural concerns? None Spayed/Neutered? Yes Vaccinated? Yes Microchipped? Yes Personality Haley is such a sweet, affectionate girl. She loves attention and loves cuddles. She takes a moment to adjust (probably about a day or two) then her lovely personality shines through.
