Story
Ideal Home: Quiet, patient and loving as she learns more about the pampered indoor life!Qualities: Gentle, Shy, Mellow. Graysie is a sophisticated 7.5 old gentle girl who has been appreciating the pampered indoor life since she arrived at Ten Lives. You see, Graysie's story is one that we commonly see; she spent her whole life outside and never knew the love and affectionate of being a beloved house cat. She has shown positive progress around her comfort human and has recently been allowing pets and brushing during her feedings. Her hobbies include bird watching and lounging in the sun beams to catch a good snooze. Graysie is gentle in nature and will need a patient adopter who can work with her slowly over time.  She gets along with other laid back and relaxed felines, and we think another easy going cat friend would help her flourish and also keep her company, but its not a deal breaker if she's a solo kitty either. If you think you could be Graysie's forever person, she hopes you will fill out an application for her today!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

Story
Meet Thumb-alina – Queen of Extra Toes and Even More Love! Fresh off mom duty after raising six beautiful babies, Thumb-alina is ready to retire her diaper bag and step into the life of luxury she so deserves. Just over 1.5 years old, this stunning calico beauty is named for her adorable polydactyl paws—she’s got extra toes and an extra big heart to match. Thumb-alina is incredibly outgoing and instantly falls in love with everyone she meets. Whether you’re a stranger or a lifelong friend, she’ll greet you with rubs, headbutts, and full-body affection, often standing on her back legs just to get closer to your face for some love. She followed her foster mom around while giving birth, so yes—this girl is loyal, affectionate, and incredibly tuned in to her people. She's also very chatty—cooing, chirping, and meowing to fill your home with conversation and warmth. Now that her kitten-raising days are behind her, Thumb-alina is ready to be the center of someone’s world—surrounded by cozy blankets, good food, and a human (or a whole family!) to love on 24/7. If you’re looking for a social butterfly with fancy feet and endless affection to give, Thumb-alina is ready to leap (and meow) into your heart. 🐾💕 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! Story
Meet Cam – The Cuddly Panther with a Play Button (and a Big Appetite)! Cam may look like a miniature panther with his sleek black coat, but underneath that cool exterior is a total goofball who lives for playtime, purrs, and snacks. At 2.5 months old, he’s full of kitten energy and curiosity—always chasing toys, wrestling with his siblings, and never turning down a meal. He’s bold, busy, and always on the move—zooming through the room one minute, batting around toys the next. When he finally tires himself out, you might catch him making biscuits or curling up next to one of his siblings for a nap. And yes—he really loves to eat. Because he’s still a baby, Cam must be adopted with one of his siblings—Claire, Gloria, or Lily—or into a home with another young and playful kitty to grow up with. He’ll also need to return to Scruffy Paws for his upcoming vetting when he’s old enough. If you’re looking for a playful, food-motivated kitten with panther vibes and endless zoomies, Cam is your guy. 🖤🐾 Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying!
