Story
Meet Pebbles! 🐾 This sweet but shy girl is currently feeling a bit overwhelmed by shelter life, and she’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and start to bloom. 🌸 Being in the shelter is tough for her, so it may take some time for her to adjust to the changes in her new home. Pebbles is hoping to find a peaceful environment with teens and up, where she can take things at her own pace. 🏡 She may be fearful at first, but we believe that once she settles in and feels comfortable, her true, affectionate nature will shine through. 💖 If you're looking for a cat that needs a little extra time to trust, but has the potential to be a loving and loyal companion, Pebbles could be the one for you. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an Adopter Profile form at www.parl.org/adopt and come by to visit during open adoption hours!

Story
Meet Molly! 🐾🐱 Molly is a beautiful calico girl 🌸 with a sweet personality and just the right touch of sassy calico charm ✨ She’s looking for an adult-only home where she can be the queen of the castle and the only pet. Molly enjoys quiet companionship and will happily keep you company , but like many calicos, she appreciates a little independence and will let you know when she’s ready for affection. Molly has diabetes, so she will need an adopter who can continue her ongoing treatment, provide her with a stable routine, and keep up with regular veterinary check-ins to help her stay healthy. Our team will walk you through her care needs to set you both up for success. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a little sparkle ✨ and are ready to support her medical needs, Molly just might be the perfect match. 💕 If you are interested in adopting, please complete an Adopter Profile form at www.parl.org/adopt and come by to visit during open adoption hours!

Story
Hi, I'm Stormie. I'm young, sweet, and a little shy. I love to curl up and purr while getting gentle strokes. My brother and I are inseparable, we've been through so much together. We're both friendly and gentle, and we're looking for a home where we can share our love. We might take a little time to come out of our shells, but once we do, we'll shower you with affection. Adopting us means double the love, double the purrs, and double the companionship. We promise to bring joy and warmth to our forever home.

Hello, I'm Tom. I've got a lot of love to give and I'm not shy about showing it. I'll greet you with a friendly meow and a purr that could melt the coldest heart. I'm a big fan of a good chin scratch and I've been known to give a gentle headbutt to show my affection. I'm also a bit of a foodie. I can't resist a tasty treat.

Good with kids, House-trained,
Story
At approximately 2 years old, Lazlo is the purrfect combination of energetic orange mischief and irresistible cuteness. As a certified Catalyst Cat, he’s here to stir things up—in the best way possible. Bird watching? Check. Climbing to physics-defying heights? Check. Staring into your soul while plotting his next adorable move? Absolutely.Lazlo is affectionate, playful, and always down for a good wand toy session. His favorite toy is "Da Bird," and no day feels complete without a good chase. He may or may not believe your houseplants are part of a secret jungle mission. He’s easygoing and could potentially vibe with another feline friend—with proper introductions, of course.Bonus: Lazlo comes with a dental appointment on May 21 (fancy!) at Vetco in Smithfield, included in his adoption fee. The rescue pays, you just chauffeur this ginger king to his spa day.So if you’re ready for a little chaos, a lot of love, and a lifetime of laughs, Lazlo’s your guy.___________________________CATalyst cats:At Ten Lives, we believe in saving the most at-risk cats of our community. Many times, these cats require extraordinary medical care and extensive stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other cats who are in high demand–such cats aid us in catalyzing change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!Thank you for allowing us to continue our life-saving work!___________________________Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here:  https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
