Story
Scout – ID 13113 – Kennel 312 – Arrived as a stray August 23 – Terrier mix, black and tan – Male, 10 months old, 26.25 lb (estimated adult weight around 35–40 lb) – Will be neutered prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative Meet Scout, a sweet young boy ready to scout out a new life filled with love and adventure. Still just 10 months old, Scout has such a gentle nature. He’s a little shy at first, but once he warms up you’ll see his sweet and loyal heart shine through. Scout is quiet in his kennel, good on leash, and always trying to do the right thing. He’s very cute with his black-and-tan markings and alert ears, giving him that shepherdy look even though he’s officially listed as a terrier mix. The adorable tuft of white fur in one ear makes him even more endearing. He’s the kind of pup who just wants to bond with his person and will blossom even more in a home where he feels safe and loved. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will grow up by your side, Scout is ready to be your boy. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
