Story
This sweet little guy is on the hunt for his forever home.  Jett may be small, but he's got a heart full of love! He likes to be carried around and snuggled. He really enjoys his time with the volunteers when he gets one on one attention. When he first came to us, he was scared/nervous, but he warmed up to the volunteers almost immediately. He will love to be in a home where he gets lots of attention. He seems to be scared of the other dogs at the kennel and will need to meet any potential brother/sister dogs. He is a senior dog (around 10 years old), so he is not high energy and does not require hours and hours of play time in his day. So, he would do very well in a chill home with potty breaks and some walks. Along with age comes some things to monitor such as the need for a dental treatment and Jett does have a heart murmur. He is not on any treatment or medication for his heart at this time, but it is something to be aware of for his future health checks. He is very nervous and can be snippy for vet/grooming procedures, like getting vaccinations and nails trimmed. This may change with time and as he becomes more familiar with you or his vet or it may not change (he might just be grouchy about vets handling him). We can suggest a vet that does individual appointments (no waiting room with other animals), is very patient with sensitive dogs and can work with you on his reactiveness. He will at least initially need to be muzzled at vet appointments. But, his small size makes him very easy to walk and handle. We would love for you to come and meet Mr. Jett and give this guy a cushy place to retire in his senior years.  ##2484297##

Story
Max is an energetic love bug. He really enjoys running around and playing with our other dog and cats, as well. My wife and I were fostering him in the interim due to a family emergency, but we now have personal medical situations that my wife and I are having a tough time going through. We feel it best that Max finds a good home and gets the attention he deserves. He is around 4 years of age, potty and crate trained, and has never met a stranger he didn’t like.

Story
🐾 Meet Perona 🐾 Perona is a sweet, loving, and energetic girl who deserves a home where she can truly thrive. She’s incredibly smart, food-motivated, and loves doing puzzles. She’s crate trained, knows how to use a doggy doorbell to go outside, and her absolute favorite activity is swimming! Perona is currently on Zenrelia for allergies (about $110/mo at Princeton Vet), and she may need to be evaluated for separation anxiety. With the right person, she’ll flourish — she’s eager to please and very trainable. I will provide her vet records, any remaining allergy medication, and her favorite toys to help with her transition. She weighs 40 lbs and is 1.5 years old. I’m facing an unexpected challenge in life that means I can’t give Perona the time and love she deserves. 💔 Please reach out if you’re interested in welcoming her into your family — and even if you can’t adopt, sharing this post would mean the world.

Story
This is Abby Rose, she is a very sweet and loving ball of energy who loves to play, go for walks or the dog park, or just play a round of fetch with her ball. She does very well with her crate for long periods of time. She rarely barks and loves her toys. She just turned 1 year old and has allergy issues that we give her zrytec 10 mg for daily. We picked her up from the Indy Humane Society when she was 8 months old, and don't really know anything about her past before we got her. She has a clean bill of health from our vet. We would really like to see her go to a home that has a nice fenced in back yard where she can play and run. We think kids or other animals would be good for her as playmates to get her energy out with. But once she is out of energy, she is the sweetest little cuddle bug and loves giving kisses to us and any strangers. We need to find her a good home due to current medical issues that are inhibiting me from giving her the attention she needs and excersize.
