Story
www.huskyrescueteam.org    If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.org Meet Freya – The Pocket-Sized Husky Queen Freya may be small in stature at just 39 pounds, but don’t let her size fool you—this little lady is all Husky heart and sass! Originally a stray who found her way into the shelter, Freya joined our program when space opened, and she’s been dazzling us ever since. Personality Sweet, sassy, and a total boss lady Loves to wrestle and play with other dogs Zoomies are a daily ritual—she’ll keep you laughing! Affectionate: gives the best hugs and adores belly rubs Home Life Enjoys quiet time in her den or crate, happily chewing on benebones Crate-trained but not destructive when left out Completely housebroken Vocal only when she really wants something (like dinner!) Compatibility Best in a home that can supervise or separate her from other dogs during meals and toy time Good on leash—no fenced yard required if you’re committed to regular potty breaks and exercise As a Husky, she should never be off leash unless in a securely fenced area Fun Facts Short and petite—like a “mini Husky” Estimated 8–10 months old, though she carries herself with a maturity beyond her age Freya is the perfect blend of spunky playmate and snuggly companion. If you’re ready for a pint-sized Husky with a big personality, Miss Freya is waiting to zoom her way into your heart! Freya is located in MD. We can transport a few hours away. Adoption area along the eastern states.~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply     If you have additional questions please email  info@huskyrescueteam.orgDecember 7, 2025, 4:12 pm

Story
Shy but playful, curious and dog friendly, this litter of five was dumped in someone's front yard. Yup, Dumped. That's what we said! Lucky they were brought to us in rescue so that you can adopt them. Terrier mixes, they're 3 months old, weigh 10 to 12 pounds and will grow to about 40 to 45 pounds. Their names are Annabelle, Witch, Casper, Bonesy, and Pumpkin....Each one is a delight! (posted 9/8/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **December 7, 2025, 4:11 pm

Story
Trina is such a loving dog. Shes 1 & when we adopted her we were told she was a husky mix. Trina loves to snuggle and cuddle with you and loves affection. She needs someone who has a fence so she can run around or who can keep her active. Shes never been around cats , so I don't know how she would adapt but she doesn't have a aggressive bone in her body. When she meets other dogs, she'll bark in the beginning but within seconds she's excited she has a new friend and ready to play. She knows her basic commands, crate trained, and will tell you when she has to go to the bathroom. The reason I have to find her a new home is because when I got her , I was teleworking and now have to go into the office. I can't tend to her the way that she deserves. Also , my allergies has gotten really bad and cats and dogs are now one of my highest reactors. It breaks our hearts but she deserves a home that can give her the time she most definitely deserves
