Story
Found on a country road with no one in sight - spring was dumped with her sister — forced to fend for themselves. Luckily a Good Samaritan picked them up and brought these two sweet pups home. Spring has a gentle, soft & soulful personality.  She’s wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, and totally fine with cats—Spring is truly easy to love and easy to live with. She has been thoughtful in any new situations & she’s been really blossoming in her foster home.  She loves being outside and playing with her dog friends, but also settles in beautifully once she’s had her fun. Her energy is a perfect medium: happy to go for a walk or just hang on the couch. She knows “sit,” responds to her name, and is a quiet, calm passenger in the car (though you’ll need to help her in). Spring is doing really well with house training and is very tuned in to routine. She’s a gentle, submissive gal who is eager to please. She would love a more chill home with other dogs to help show her the ropes.  She’s the kind of pup who just wants to be near her people, feel safe, and know she’s home. 5 mo/42 lbs Retriever/Shepherd mixaltered, vaccinated & microchipped very dog friendly fostered with catsfostered with kids __________ready for forever 6/2 apply today    *Please note: We're an all-volunteer organization, and incomplete applications cannot be processed.* If you're interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application through the link below. Story
Stitch is an almost 2yo Catahoula Leopard who after he was nurtured started to have some behavioral problems. He chases his tail while barking and has a hard time settling down. He is currently on medication, but still has some hard days. He is such a lovable, smart and funny dog but when he gets in the red zone it takes some time to settle down. He is good about going to his crate to relax. His current medication combo is the best our vet can do Clomicalm, Gabapentin and Trazodone. I believe seeing a behaviorist could help. He is great with kids we have 4 under 6 who he is so sweet with. He has been with his sister (Lilo) since we got him at 6 weeks and they play really well together but are not bonded. I’m not sure how he would be with smaller animals. A place where he can run would be best he loves the feild and swamp by our home but we don’t have the time for him that he needs right now.
