Story
Meet Suzy! Suzy is approximately 8 years old, 15 lbs currently and she likely has some Chihuahua in her mix! She was surrendered after her person had too many dogs. In her foster home, she is doing great with her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. Her foster says, `Suzy is a smart dog who appears not to have had a lot of training. She loves attention and being petted. She really just wants to be with her person. She walks well on the leash, but can be distracted. She is curious about new things and will stop to watch birds, or neighbors mowing the grass. She is very eager to please and is learning to sit. Suzy loves treats and comes when called. She has not had any accidents in the house since the first day and has never had an accident in the crate. Give her a little attention and she will be your shadow. She is amazing with my two dogs, one who loves playing with her and one who just wants to be left alone.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on July 18th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Crispy is fantastic little puppy, full of personality and shows signs of being a champion snuggler!   Crispy is excellent in his crate, has started indicating when he needs a potty break and learning the ropes on leash.  This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2376523##
