Story
Hi, I'm Mango! I'm a happy-go-lucky girl on the lookout for a loving family to call my own. I am part husky—but in a fun-sized, mini version! I'm sweet, loyal, smart, and playful, and I’m always eager to please. A couple of treats is all it takes for us to become best friends. I absolutely love being outside and would be thrilled to have a yard to play in. Water is one of my favorite things—whether it’s chasing sprinklers or splashing in the rain, I’m all in! I also enjoy long walks and would be so happy with a family who shares my love of the outdoors and adventures. Toys are another big favorite of mine—I play nicely with them and never tear them up. I get along great with other dogs and love to run and chase. I’m also good with cats and kids of all ages. When it's time to wind down, I'm calm and relaxed, I love to curl up beside you on the couch for some loves and belly rubs. At night I sleep in my kennel, which I consider my safe space. As a husky-mix I can get bored and find myself getting into trouble if I'm not given enough stimulation. I have made great improvements with this at my new foster home but I would do best in an active family and/or with another active dog to play with. I've I also been working on not barking back at the neighbor dogs, and I’m picking it up quickly! I already know how to sit and lie down like a pro. I'm also already potty trained and crate trained. Hopefully my new family will help me continue to help me learn to become the best version of myself I can be.  Mango is being fostered in Salem, OR. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in various cities.  We do not have a shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. If needed, our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then please fill out the application form found at Springbranchrescue.org. ##1820545##

Story
Meet Oscar – Your New Best Friend!Oscar is a 4–5-year-old Westie mix with a heart full of love and a sweet, gentle soul. Weighing about 20 pounds, this little guy is the perfect size for cuddling—and that just happens to be his favorite thing in the world. He lives for affection, belly rubs, and being close to his people. If you're looking for a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be your shadow, Oscar might just be the one.   Oscar is crate trained, but he doesn’t enjoy being in his crate for long periods and would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the day. Because of this, apartment living isn't ideal for him—he’d do better in a house where he can settle in peacefully without the sounds and distractions of close neighbors.   He appears to be house trained as long as he's taken out regularly, and he’s doing very well with his potty routine. Oscar also walks on a leash and enjoys his strolls, though he can be a bit enthusiastic and pull a little—something that could be improved with consistent practice and patience.   Oscar has a bit of a 'prince' personality—he’d love to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention for himself. He wants to be the center of someone’s world, and he deserves it! That said, he does seem to be just fine with cats, so feline siblings could be okay with proper introductions.   We don’t know much about Oscar’s experience with children, so we recommend a home with kids 8 years and up who can be gentle and respectful of his space. He’s not high-energy, but he does love to follow his person around and be involved in whatever’s going on.   With his soft white coat, bright eyes, and expressive little face, Oscar is truly the cutest—and he has a personality to match. He’s been through some unknowns in his life, but he’s more than ready to find a safe, loving forever home where he can feel secure, cherished, and adored.   If you're looking for a loyal little buddy who will love you endlessly and ask for nothing more than your affection and time, Oscar is your guy. Come meet him and fall in love!    Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 8, 2025, 4:56 pm

Story
Meet Elton John: To Know Him is to LOVE HIM! Guaranteed. At just 50lbs, Elton is a LOT SMALLER than he looks in his photos! This lovable, goofy guy is sure to steal your heart. Elton is a smart and playful pup who absolutely loves playing fetch — he was over the moon when his foster mom in South Carolina gave him a brand-new ball to call his very own! A true people dog, Elton is always eager to be by your side and is searching for a loving family that’s up for some serious cuddle time and car rides! Yes, he LOVES the car. You might think, given Elton’s friendly and carefree nature, that he’s had a wonderful life up to this point — but sadly, that’s not the case. Over two years ago, Elton and his canine buddy Elvis were found in poor condition: malnourished, filthy, and covered in fleas and ticks. They were two inseparable friends, just looking for a little kindness from the world. Now, this happy hunk is finally in New Hampshire and ready to find his very own family to share in the fun! He is 5 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. House-trained, crate-trained, and a dream on the leash. He gets along just fine with other laid back dogs, but he would be happiest getting all of the love. NO CATS PLEASE! If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion, Elton could be the perfect fit for your family. If you're interested in welcoming him into your life, please complete an adoption application on our website - https://www.heartsandtails.org/adoption-application PLEASE NOTE that due to the overwhelming number of inquiries we receive daily, we can only respond to those who have completed an online application, and appear to be a good match. Vicky has arrived in NH and is excited to begin the search for her forever family, and the beauty of a life she has never known! Vicky is 2 years old, and she weighs just 8lbs. She is spayed, has all her required vaccines, and is microchipped. Story
Meet ZELDA! At a year and a half old, Zelda has a lot of love to give! She is extremely friendly, has a whole body wiggle, and is a compact 31 lbs of love. Zelda generally likes other dogs, and had several dog friends in the shelter. She likes the kids she has met, although her play style is too rough for young children. Children age 12 and up would be great. She LOVES the car, and gladly hops right in for a ride. She is curious, affectionate, and full of joy. When Zelda gets excited, she “sploots,” with her whole back end flat on the ground. She is like a furry yoga guru! Seeing her energy and excitement, one may think she is tough on a leash. Nothing could be farther than the truth - she walks like a dream! Happy to explore and sniff, but she can also set a pace and stick to it. This girl is guaranteed to bring laughter and joy to the lucky family who brings her home.
