Story
*Name: Evie *Age: 11 months  *Current Weight: 42lbs  *Rescued from: New York *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Everly aka Evie! This sweet girl was recently rescued by a NY Police Officer after being found abandoned and tied to a pole. A Good Samaritan reached out to SNARR and after some digging, we were able to discover she was previously adopted as a young puppy and then given up by her owners. We can't imagine how anyone could just discard this beauty.  Despite the heartbreak she's recently experienced, Evie is a soft-hearted sweetheart with a gentle soul. She’s happy to meet new people—friendly and curious without being overwhelming.  She’s a sensitive girl in the best way: intuitive, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the world around her. Evie thrives in calm environments and would do best with respectful, low-to-medium energy dog friends who understand her need for a gentle approach, as she can be a little unsure at first with new canine companions, but with time and patience, she warms up beautifully. Evie is smart and eager to learn—she loves working with her person and will shine in a home that enjoys positive reinforcement training and helping her continue to build confidence. This girl has so much potential and deserves a family who understands the lifelong commitment a dog deserves.  If you’re looking for a kind, soft, and soulful young pup to share your days with, Evie would love to meet you. IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2506125##

Story
Name: AdamEstimated DOB: 3/10/2025Breed: Terrier Mix ‍Gender: Male (not yet neutered)Weight: 22 poundsLocation: BuffaloThis sweet boy is very happy, silly & social. He loves people & dogs & playing outside. A fully fenced yard is highly recommended unless you have a very active & adventurous lifestyle because Adam is training for the USA Track Team for both sprints & long distance events. Although he enjoys using his nose to independently sniff & explore, he truly enjoys companionship for his adventures. He is young, energetic & extremely intelligent so he deserves a home that will provide him mental stimulation & plenty of time to exercise. When you meet him you will be impressed by his mile high legs, charming personality & joyful disposition. He is slender & will be a medium size dog when full grown. Adam was found as a “stray” & brought to the shelter, but we believe there is much more to his story. He is not timid, not nervous, not shy. He is practically fearless (except when the lawn mower comes out).ZIf you are interested in adopting Adam & giving him everything he needs & deserves, please apply at https://www.716PAWS.org/adopt or message the rescue if you are already approved to adopt. ##2506857##
