Story
Hi! I’m Violet. I am a playful, energetic and happy puppy! I enjoy the outdoors and am wonderful with other dogs. I would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog to keep me company and give me confidence. I am a bit shy so I’ll need patience when getting to know me. When we bond I will bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life. I look forward to meeting you!  I am doing well with housebreaking. I am about 4 months old and 20 pounds (and growing!). Violet is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines for her age, micrchipped, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $350. Apply today at www.rescue330.org!  ##2361822##

Story
Chip  aka Chip Chop Ham •Age: estimated 2 years old •Weight: 50 lbs•Breed: Pointer/Hound mix •Chip is a shy boy with people at first but he LOVES other dogs. He’s submissive, playful & extremely sweet. Because he spooks easy a home with a fully fenced in yard would be best but isn’t required.  •Chip is potty trained, crate trained & walks well on a leash. We are still working on basic commands but he’s learning. He loves going on walks & to dog parks or in the car.  •He’s great with dogs of all sizes, kids & he doesn’t seem to notice or mind cats. Chip does need a patient family while he adjusts to someone new & a new space as he scares easily.  •If you think this quiet sweet boy would be a good fit & you’re interested in meeting Chip, please fill out an application to start the process. Chip is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. His adoption fee is $250. Ready to make Chip a part of your family? The first step is to complete an adoption application on our website at www.rescue330.org. ##2361832##

Story
EXTREME PUPPY CUTENESS ALERT! The GILMORE GIRLS are looking for homes of their very own! LORELAI and RORY are gorgeous little lovebugs! They are 6–7-month-old terrier mix girls who love their doggie friends, their trusted humans, kitties, toys and yummy food. They landed in a rural shelter as strays, terrified of humans. We suspect they had little contact with people prior to their time in the shelter, they froze whenever a human came near. The girls went to separate foster homes for individual attention and socialization and both are blossoming thanks to the loving care of their foster families. They are mixed breed girls, probably Jack Russel Terrier plus something a little bigger and scruffier. Lorelai is currently 17 pounds with a gorgeous scruffy coat. Rory is 18 pounds with a slightly shorter scruffy coat and an adorable little scruff beard. We estimate they will each remain under 30 pounds when fully grown, maybe 25 pounds at most? Both girls need homes with another friendly playful dog. This is a non-negotiable requirement, they each rely on other dogs to help them navigate life. The Gilmore Girls need patient parents who will take the time needed to earn their trust. Once you’ve won RORY or LORELAI’s trust they will shower you with affection. They need secure physically fenced yards. Both are best suited to quieter homes where they won’t have to meet lots of scary strangers. RORY is the more confident of the two, LORELAI is more sensitive. Lorelai and Rory are both doing extremely well with housebreaking and crate training. If you’d like to meet Lorelai or Rory, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. The Gilmore Girls will not be attending our weekly adoption events. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
