Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 5/5/25 Gracie This little girl and her siblings were found on a secluded road, where they had been dumped with a little towel to lay on. Little babies dumped out there alone, with no houses nearby, and very little chance of surviving. Thankfully, someone did see them. They stopped and checked on them, but could not take them in, so they left them there too. But they did reach out to us, and one of our amazing fosters went and found them. They were rescued Easter weekend, so they were dubbed 'our Easter Dumplings.' These babies are so friendly and sweet natured. They ran to the rescuer when she stopped her car, as if they were begging for help. Begging to live. We don't know what breed they are, but they appear to be a mix of many breeds. They will likely be average size (50 ish lbs). Some have nub tails, some have 3/4 tails, and some have full tails. We don't know what that's all about. Gracie has a 3/4 tail. They are now up to date on vaccinations, started on monthly preventives, and will be spayed/neutered this week. They are about 3 months old. They didn't ask to be born into this cruel world, but they are here now, so it's our job to make sure they are loved for the rest of their lives. Please consider one of these babies for your family. You won't regret it! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays Southington, CT 8am Fridays East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
