Story
Theodore (Theo for short) is a very playful and lovable dog. He has a lot of energy and is looking for someone with a lot of love to take him on walks and play fetch! He is an indoor dog and is also crate trained. He is very smart and food motivated. He went through many rounds of puppy training and adult training for basic commands. He will need extra love if there’s a thunderstorm! He will do best in a single pet household so he can get plenty of attention and love! We would prefer an adoption where we can keep in touch to check in on how Theo is doing in his new home.

Story
Blitz is a character. He is super loving and cuddly as you can see from the pictures. Me and my partner rescued blitz from a shelter off the red tag list and it was one of the best decisions ever. Unfortunately we are having to rehome him due to us having to move a downsize our space. Blitz would do best in a single dog family due to having issues with resource guarding and being super high energy which can sometimes come off as aggression. He is a barker (he loves to argue) for sure but it is typically due to excitement. He is a super sweet dog that can definitely use more training. He knows certain commands and is potty trained. He loves to cuddle up in a blanket and play with toys. He loves to on walks and just be around people. He is a great dog, we just don’t want him to end up back in the shelter sad and scared.

Story
This pet is part of a bonded pair! See separate profile for Calisi here https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/44507828-greenville-south-carolina-french-bulldog Leko is from Ukraine and came to the US in 2021, before the war started. She is a special breed (we have the original papers). Her shoulders and the way she walks is unlike any other dog we have seen, very unique. Leko is very loving, needs care and is very friendly with all humans and other dogs. She does bark at cats but in a playing way when she gets excited. There is a bit of potty training left but she is doing well. Leko has just been spayed and updated her shots at the end of April 2025. We would prefer to keep her and her Calisi, her female litter together.

Story
Meet Axel, a 7 1/2 year old purebred orange & white male brittany.  Axel loves other dogs & kids, but definitely no cats. He has a high prey drive and needs a steady job.  He would love the opportunity to hunt.  He is not gun shy and has excellent recall.   He must have a home with a lot of land. A working farm would be perfect for him.  He needs a lot of daily exercise and to be kept busy.  Axel is an escape artist and requires a privacy fence of at least 6' high.  He is an expert at escaping and considers it a great game.  Since he does have great recall, he comes back once called. However, he must be supervised when he's outside. This is why a lot of land, and away from roads, is important.  Axel is well socialized and will do anything you ask of him. He is very sweet, but driven and needs an outlet for his energy. He loves to be outside and is very goofy.  Like most bird dogs, he is not great on a leash, but does excellent on a long lead.  He is crate trained and should be crated when left alone.  He tends to get into mischief, especially if not highly exercised. Axel is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in northwestern GA and is available for transport up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles to pick him up.  His adoption fee is $350.  If you are interested in adopting Axel, please submit an adoption application at www.nbran.org and mention his name. Also, feel free to reach out to jessica@thesouthernway.com with any questions.May 8, 2025, 8:42 pm
