Story
Hi, I'm Mango! I'm a happy-go-lucky girl on the lookout for a loving family to call my own. I am part husky—but in a fun-sized, mini version! I'm sweet, loyal, smart, and playful, and I’m always eager to please. A couple of treats is all it takes for us to become best friends. I absolutely love being outside and would be thrilled to have a yard to play in. Water is one of my favorite things—whether it’s chasing sprinklers or splashing in the rain, I’m all in! I also enjoy long walks and would be so happy with a family who shares my love of the outdoors and adventures. Toys are another big favorite of mine—I play nicely with them and never tear them up. I get along great with other dogs and love to run and chase. I’m also good with cats and kids of all ages. When it's time to wind down, I'm calm and relaxed, I love to curl up beside you on the couch for some loves and belly rubs. At night I sleep in my kennel, which I consider my safe space. As a husky-mix I can get bored and find myself getting into trouble if I'm not given enough stimulation. I have made great improvements with this at my new foster home but I would do best in an active family and/or with another active dog to play with. I've I also been working on not barking back at the neighbor dogs, and I’m picking it up quickly! I already know how to sit and lie down like a pro. I'm also already potty trained and crate trained. Hopefully my new family will help me continue to help me learn to become the best version of myself I can be.  Mango is being fostered in Salem, OR. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in various cities.  We do not have a shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. If needed, our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then please fill out the application form found at Springbranchrescue.org. ##1820545##

Story
They say Paris is the city of love. Well we just LOVEEE Paris. Everyone does. Paris must be from France with all of this class she brings to the table. I mean seriously, she became friends with every single dog she met here at the rescue. It really brightens up your day to see such a sweetie pie like her! She is also a smart and respectful girl in the home. She learned to use the doggy door on her first day! One thing about Paris that you simply must know is that she is a lover girl, through and through. Let her sit in your lap and give you kisses, and you will experience the true love and companionship we’re all looking for. As if she couldn’t get any better, she is kiddo approved. She let a 5 year old train her here at the rescue! Of course she did fantastic, giving him an automatic sit, and taking treats ever so gently. What more could you ask for? Oh. And she’s cat friendly too! Woo hoo! Watch Paris and prepare to fall in love: https://youtu.be/lJ7scaVjkPg?si=WOgD2JitaPTrrrVm Paris is wondering if you will open up your home for her. We could see Paris in an apartment, with proper exercise, or a house with a yard. She does enjoy to run and play with a dog, so having a yard is a big plus. In her foster home, you will often find her chillin by the pool. She likes to sit in the little pool chairs! She even has hot pink goggles. Be careful, Paris might just be cooler than you. Paris would enjoy the company of a goofy male companion in the home. She loves toys, and we imagine her playing outside with her future doggy sibling or even entertaining herself with her toys in the green grass! In her spare time, Paris enjoys a nice car ride, looking out the window and watching the world pass by. Maybe you will stop through a drive through for a yummy treat on your way home? Either way, Paris is right there ready for the adventure. On another note, Paris got to meet Biggie the kitty while she was here, and she did well! We would say she would need a feline friend that is very dog savvy! This basically means a cat that’s used to dogs being around, and doesn’t mind telling doggy friends what’s up! During her kid training time, we noticed that Paris really would prefer to be around older children, only because they are less jumpy and rowdy! Can’t blame a girl for that! Ready to experience true love? Apply for Paris here! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6818cfc534306d398407861d Questions? Ask michelleboswell@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms.
