Story
Meet Lily — the sweetest mama with a heart full of love. This brave mama raised 12 precious puppies all on her own before we rescued her — and now she deserves a loving home where she’s the star. Lily’s gentle, affectionate, and just a little shy at first — but once she realizes she’s safe, she warms up fast. She’s good with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and her calm, loving presence makes her a wonderful companion. She’s crate trained and potty trained, and she’s steadily learning leash manners and basic obedience. If you think Lily might be the one for you, you can apply for adoption here : https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NASD/Dog Let’s give this sweet mama the forever home she’s been longing for.

Story
Meet KAHLUA! If you’re looking for an amazing Lab, don’t wait too long—this sweet girl checks all the boxes! KAHLUA was found as a stray in a rural Oklahoma town. A wonderful Lab for Life foster offered to take KAHLUA in and she's been lovely from day one! She and her foster siblings are already partners in crime, zooming around the yard, wrestling, and playing chase like pros. When KAHLUA decides it’s ball time, you better be ready! She loves tennis balls. She adores playing with her foster sibling Shiloh—she’ll grab the ball and zoom off, hoping Shiloh joins the chase. This mellow beauty has shown zero aggression and has a wonderfully laid-back personality. She rides great in the car, walks nicely on a collar and leash, and is crate-trained during the day. She’s also potty-trained using a doggie door—smart girl! KAHLUA does amazing with dogs her size and even smaller pups. Indoors, she’s a quiet, easy-going companion who loves relaxing in her crate or stretching out on a comfy dog cot. She isn’t much of a barker and is happiest just being near her people. KAHLUA is the total package and is going to make someone the BEST companion. Don’t miss out on this sweetheart!

Story
This boy is the snuggle king! He’s 1-2 years old and just under 20 lbs. He does well with cats and dogs. Stanley is a happy and silly guy! He is a master of finding anywhere and everywhere to sleep. He’s got long stilts for legs and an underbite to keep you giggling. Stanley is crate trained and house trained. Stanley does need a home with no children, they’re too much for him and he deserves to live a life of peace. He will benefit from continued confidence building as most little dogs would! He’s been in a wonderful foster home that’s helped us learn so much about him and provided many adorable pictures.

Story
Welcome Koa to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Koa is a very sweet pup. We think her breed mix is Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd/Border Collie. She weighs about 28 pounds and should stay medium sized. She is good on a leash, good with other dogs. She is mostly with her sister in her foster home. Koa is the most confident of the 2 pups and she has 2 upright ears. She uses a doggy door and is good on leash and in a car. She would be best with someone that is active and outdoorsy. She would be fine as an only dog or would be good with another dog. She will be a fun one to train. She has good eye contact and attention to who is speaking with her. She is good with children and fully potty trained. She is good on a leash and good in a car. She has one upright ear and one that is not. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be a great family companion and could go with children. We like children to be 8 or older. Please be patient when you put in your application. Adoption fee for Koa is $400 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed mix. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!
