~~THIS DOG IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT REMY OR MEET HER, PLEASE REACH OUT TO HER OWNER DIRECTLY AT  roseofalltrades@outlook.com   THANK YOU~~ This is Remy!  She is a 9yo spayed beagle looking for her forever home.  We took her in when friends of a friend were in a pinch with their other dog picking on her too much.  She’s recently recovered from several stitches on her face and is ready to start meeting new potential families! She is up to date on all vaccinations.  She is a little overweight so we have her on a diet and exercise regimen and she’s doing well with it.   She lets us bathe her and nail trim.  She likes to be your shadow, and snuggle up when ever the opportunity arises.  She can be a little bit of the “fun police” if another dog is getting more attention than her, and might bork until she gets attention too.  She has done well learning redirection with this behavior though.  She will not bite or mouth.  Does well on a leash with harness, and while she loves going for walkies - she’s also content making a sniffing loop around the fenced yard before coming back inside for a snooze.  She knows how to use our doggy door & has had no accidents in the house.   She is currently fostered with cats, dogs, chickens, and ducks and minds her manners with all of them (unless the "fun police" gets dispatched ).  She has been around children of all sizes and does not jump or react with any great interest around them (other than maybe cleaning up sticky food fingers).   Home visit and trial stay required before formalizing any adoption.   Let me know if you have questions or would like to meet this sweetie pie! ##2393777##

Story
Meet Reo! He’s a one-and-a-half-year-old mixed breed with long, silky hair and a very manageable weight of 45 lbs—which he’ll gladly pile onto your lap the moment he meets you. Reo is a loyal, affectionate people-dog who loves to be close to his humans. He wants to say hi to everyone and will enthusiastically offer kisses. Personal space isn’t really his thing—he’ll happily sit right on top of you. Though still young and full of puppy energy, Reo listens well and is eager to please. He’s not a runner and prefers to stay close, even on off-leash walks. He knows a few basic commands and would likely be easy to train with some stability and consistency. Reo previously lived around chickens and livestock, which he loved to chase—so a home without farm animals would be best. He’s had a lot of transitions in his short life, so he can be a little skittish at first but usually settles in within a few days. He’s afraid of cats and doesn’t do well with aggressive or dominant dogs, but he gets along just fine with calm, docile ones. Reo loves to run, play, and go on long walks—but he’s also a big fan of long naps. He’s not crate trained. Fun fact: Reo has secret flying abilities and once jumped a 6-foot kennel wall! Baby gates are no match for him. Luckily, he’s usually just trying to get closer to his people—not escape. Reo has lived with older kids and has always been gentle with everyone he meets. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots. Want to meet this gentle guy? FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing this adorable boy, Lucas! He is a 1.5-year-old, 17 LB Chihuahua/Whippet mix who is looking for his forever home! Lucas is such a sweet and loving little dog! He can be shy at first, but once he opens up and trusts you, he is very cuddly and loves to be right up in your arms or on your lap. He is still gaining confidence and can be a bit of a flight risk in new situations, so we are looking for adopters who are patient and able to provide him a calm environment to continue opening up and gain confidence in. Lucas is a very playful and spunky pup once he opens up! He loves to play with other dogs and would love another playful dog in the home. He is going to make such a wonderful companion to whoever adopts him! Lucas is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing this goofball, Isaac! He is a 9-month-old, 34 LB Queensland Heeler who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA hoping to find his forever home here in WA. Isaac is quite a fun dog and very sweet! He gets along well with others and would make a great additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. He is very smart and learns quickly, which will make training a breeze! Isaac walks well on leash and likes to stay near his person, but is definitely still working on some leash manners. He is an active boy who would love a home that takes him on daily walks, runs, hiking and many adventures! He is a herding breed as well and can be mouthy at times, so he would do best in a home that understands how to handle herding breed behaviors. Isaac is going to make incredibly loyal companion to any lucky adopter who adopts him ~ and who couldn’t love his adorable black mask and spots?! Isaac is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Harriet! She is a 3-year-old, 12 LB Maltese mix who is looking for her forever home! Harriet is a great dog and extremely sweet with her people! She lived in a home at one point, but her owner fell on hard times and could no longer care for her so now she is looking for a new forever home! She is very loving, great on leash, and loves to be with her people. She has also done great with other dogs and would be a wonderful additional dog in a home, or she could be fine as an only dog. Harriet would love a forever home that takes her on daily walks and excursions and provides a good amount of cuddle time! She is a dog that will need regular grooming. She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Laney! Laney is a vibrant and affectionate 2.5-year-old pup who’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of tail wags into your life! This sweet girl is full of energy and loves to play, but she also has a gentle side that shines through when she’s snuggling with her favorite people. Laney is fully potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s also spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to start her new chapter with a loving family. Her ideal home is one that understands her enthusiastic personality—she really loves her people and can hardly contain her excitement when she sees them! Because of her energy level, she’ll thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard or with an adopter committed to daily exercise and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will shower you with love and keep you moving, Laney might just be your perfect match! To add Laney to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping ##1944382##
