Story
Meet Isabel! Isabel is a darling 5-month-old pup who recently made the journey from an overcrowded California shelter to Washington in search of her forever family. She currently weighs about 18 lbs, and with her sweet personality (and those unforgettable ears!), she’s sure to win hearts wherever she goes. This happy, fun-loving girl adores playtime with her foster siblings—three puppies her age and three older dogs—and then happily settles into her crate for a good nap. She’s also being introduced to farm animals such as chickens, horses, and donkeys, and is taking it all in stride. While she hasn’t met cats yet, she’s young and adaptable enough that she may do well with a dog-savvy cat. Isabel loves people of all ages and greets everyone with joy. Because she’s still a puppy, she sometimes jumps up in excitement, so she may do best in a home with older children. She is crate-trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and is making fabulous progress with potty training. Isabel would thrive in a home with a fenced yard to zoom around in, or with an active family who can take her on daily walks and adventures. She’d love to have another playful pup to romp with, but she’d also be happy as your one-and-only as long as she gets plenty of exercise, socialization, and love. As with all puppies, Isabel is still learning and will need a family committed to continuing her training and helping her grow into her very best self. Isabel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Hello! This lovely Australian Shepherd is Nala, born September 16th, 2021, in California. Nala is an outgoing, affectionate pup who loves staying active and being part of the action. She’s very intelligent, quick to learn, and currently doing well with both structured training and off-leash practice. Nala thrives on attention and daily activity. If left indoors for too long, she can get anxious, which may lead to mischief like digging in the trash or tearing up toys — but with the right amount of exercise, stimulation, and love, she shines. She gets along well with other pets, loves making new friends, and bonds quickly with people who invest time in her. Nala is looking for a new home where she can enjoy a change of pace and, most importantly, an active, loving owner who can match her energy and enthusiasm. She’ll be a wonderful, loyal companion for someone ready to give her the life she deserves.

Story
Meet Jewel! Jewel is a 3-month-old sweetheart of a pup who recently traveled from an overcrowded California shelter to Washington with her sister, Hazel, in search of her forever family. She currently weighs about 10 lbs, and her striking steel gray and brown brindle coat is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. True to her name, Jewel is a quiet, gentle, and soulful little pup—a true gem. She enjoys playing with her sister and foster siblings, then curling up for a cozy nap right in your lap. Jewel is being fostered in a home with several other dogs—puppies and adults alike—and she gets along wonderfully with all of them. She’s also being introduced to farm animals such as chickens, horses, and donkeys, and taking it all in stride. While she hasn’t met cats yet, she’s young and adaptable enough that she may be able to coexist with a dog-savvy cat. She loves people of all ages, including children, though like any puppy, she may get a little excited and jump up, so she might do best in a home with older kids. Jewel is crate-trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and is making excellent progress with her potty training. The ideal home for her would include a fenced yard to play, explore, and sunbathe in—or a family who will take her on daily walks and little adventures. She’d thrive with another playful pup, but she’d also be happy as your one-and-only, provided she continues to get the socialization and love all puppies need. As a young pup, Jewel is still learning and will need a family committed to continuing her training and helping her blossom into her best self. Jewel is up to date on vaccinations and will be microchipped and spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Twila: A Sweet, Cuddly Lap Dog With Endless Love to Give Twila is a 2 year-old, 17 pound chihuahua mix currently in a foster home with two other small dogs, and a cat. Twila is friendly, affectionate, and always happy—her little tail wiggles non-stop whenever you talk to her. This loving girl adores being held, cuddled, and giving kisses. She’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up in your lap, soak up belly rubs at night, and make you feel loved every single day. Though she enjoys short walks (especially if there are squirrels to chase), she’s more of a snuggle-at-home type than an adventurer. Twila doesn’t play rough, but she enjoys being in the mix when other small dogs are playing and gets along well with them. She’s intimidated by bigger dogs and the resident cat, so a home with other small, gentle companions would suit her best. At home, Twila is easygoing and well-mannered. She’s both potty trained and pad trained, and she sleeps quietly through the night. She even puts herself to bed—often choosing to curl up in her crate on her own, happily settled on her dog bed. Always cheerful, always cuddly, and always ready to love, Twila is the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet, happy little lap dog. Twila is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
