Adopting a Puggle

Frequently asked questions about acquiring an Puggle - the pros and cons of adopting versus going through a breeder, and associated costs.

A Puggle puppy from a breeder can be very expensive, depending on their lineage, size, and color. The price of an average Puggle from a reputable breeder is $800 to $2,000. Of course, we’d love for you to go the adoption route. If you are set on a certain breed, please also consider breed-specific rescues.

Puggles are a popular “designer breed,” but you can also find one at a shelter or rescue group. The cost of adopting a Puggle through a rescue is much lower than buying one from a breeder. The average rescue adoption fee for a Puggle is around $300, which covers the expenses of caring for the dog before adoption.  A great place to start would be to search on Adopt a Pet.
