Additional adoption info

We have a standard adoption donation of a minium of $75.00. We require all of our pets you adopt to be spayed/neutered within a reasonable amt of time.(suggested 6 mths from the time of adoption). We require vet references checked before adoption. Contract to be signed with the terms of the adoption requirements. Dogs cannot be adopted to anyone who plans to tie them to a chain 24hrs a day. We will not adopt to renters unless a letter accompanies the application from the landlord. We screen our adopters for the right match, we can tell if you match.

About Takadence Acres Animal Adoption and Rescue, Inc

We are a newly formed rescue group. We have been in operation since November 2004. We are located on 15 acres in Harbeson , Delaware. We are currently undergoing some construction, we are clearing land, putting up small outbuildings for the shelter of the animals. Unfortuanately, we only have outdoor facilities at this time. We hope that in the near future to have enough cash donations to build and indoor facility to keep these critters out of the weather. We are a family owned and operated rescue with very little help from the outside public. We do have a few businesses that support our efforts, such as Walmart in Rehoboth Beach, De. , Concord Pet, De.,Rehoboth Animal Hosp, and Four Paws in Seaford , De.We are currently looking for donors to help with the funding of our efforts. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization so everything that one should donate is 100% tax deductible. We currently have at our rescue, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, rabbits. We also need supplies , building materials,beeding, dog houses, tarps, etc. for the care of the animals. We will be holding and adoption Fair on 2-12-05 at Concord Pet In rehoboth Beach De. from 10am to 3pm. We will have some puppies for adoption,some dogs 1-2 yrs old. Come and veiw our animals. These dogs all need a loving home, they are just like children they deserve somebody to love them too. Please consider adding a pet into your family,rescue one today.
