About Our Rescue Group:

We work with animal shelters throughout the state of Indiana and occasionally it's neighbors. MUM IS NO KILL!! We believe that euthanasia is the RIGHT answer ONLY if a pet is suffering due to injury or illness that cannot be treated. We also believe that it may be necessary in the case of viciousness, aggression or behavior problems that may make the animal unadoptable.

Our Adoption Process:

Applications can be made on line at

Our adoption fee is $150 and includes all necessary vet care plus all of our dogs are current on preventions. We encourage you to call any veterinary office and ask for their charges to spay/neuter and adminster basic vacinnations. Most of the animals who come into our care are in need of these services and much more. Adoption fees usually do not come close to covering our expenses.

Contracts will be required at time of adoption.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
