.About Our Shelter:
The Morgan Co. Humane Society is the only animal shelter located within our county. We provide a safe and loving environment for all homeless pets that enter our facility. We promote spay and neutering with public awareness and spay and neuter assistance and referals for those who need it. We also provide Animal Control and Rescue for Morgan Co. We are funded with donations from the public, a limited amount of income comes from our county. We could not do what we do without the help of many volunteers and generous donations to our shelter.Come Meet our Pets:
Pets are available for adoption at our shelter located at 690 W Mitchell St Martinsville, IN on M,T,TH & F 12-5pm and Sat 11-4pm Sunday and Wednesday we are closed.Off site adoptions take place at Petsmart in Plainfield for cats.Puppies and adult dogs brought to that store location on Saturday for adoption.

Our Adoption Process:
Dogs under 25lbs, puppies and purebreds are $125, Adult dogs over 25 lbs which includes: spay/neuter, microchip, first set of vaccinations and dewormer and a free physicalCats are $80 and Kittens are $85 which includes: spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations and dewormer and a free physical.
A preadoption form is required prior to adoption to ensure that the pet is a good match for the adopter. Adopter must agree to the terms and conditions on the adoption form. If at any time the adopter no longer wants the pet, adopter must agree to return the pet to MCHS
