About Our Rescue Group
4 Pawz 4 Life is a Las Vegas rescue group that works very closely with Adopt A Rescue Pet. Our focus is on Jack Russells, Rat Terriers, Fox Terriers, Belgium Malinios, and German Shepherds but we will take in and re-home all species and breeds of animals
4 Pawz 4 Life specialize in providing a safe haven for pets of abuse, neglect or homelessness. In most cases, these cases would have resulted in death if the animal would have entered a municipally funded shelter. 4 Pawz 4 Life houses the pets in its programs in foster homes, local boarding facilities, 4 Pawz 4 Life receives no local or federal funding, it relies solely on the generosity of its contributors and tax deductible donations received from the public.

Our Adoption Process
Adoption fees are requested to help offset the cost of the animal and put toward the rescue of others. No administrative fees are taken from the adoption fee. The fees vary but usually range from $2 to $450. These monies are not intended to make a profit nor do they normally cover all the expense that is put into the pet. They are merely requested to help offset the cost to the group.

All of our animals are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered (unless too young), and are also microchip identified. Many have been in a home so the personality and temperament of the animal is known. We do not place an animal in the home just because we need to make space for a new rescue. We prefer to put the animal's best interest at heart and not place the animal in a home that is not suitable for the animal. (We do not adopt medium or large dogs out to apartments - regardless if the dog is a puppy at the present time - all dogs grow up) Due to the numbers of pets in the shelter system not all animals are able to be rescued. We do what we can and other adoption agencies do what they can, but the end to over population and unwanted and lost pets starts with the owner.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
