Lake County, OhioAbout Our Rescue Group:
Helping Hands Pet Adoption Network has many beautiful, loving pets available for adoption. Unfortunately, we are unable to take in anymore rescues at this time. We recommend calling The Animal Rescue Center at 440-942-1753 if you have a pet you wish to place in a rescue group. We are a tiny network of foster homes that helps animals in transition find loving forever homes and we are "filled to the gills", so until more foster families join the network, we are unable to take in anymore rescues without having placed some of the pets currently in our care.
Our pets come to us from all walks of life, from the abandoned kittens found near a dumpster, to the loyal 2 year old who had to be trapped because he refused to leave the home his "family" had moved away from, to the beloved 12 year old baby of a widower who passed away.
They arrive in all shapes and sizes, all ages and conditions. Fat, thin, healthy, sick, treasured, abandoned, pampered or starved, we help all we can and refer callers to other rescue groups when we are full.
We are always seeking loving homes to foster our rescue babies and welcome e-mails from those who wish to foster.
Come Meet our Pets:
In order to respect the privacy of our wonderful foster families, we ask that potential adopters make an appointment to meet the pet or pets they are interested in.Our Adoption Process:
An Adoption Application, Adoption Contract and home visit are required for all adoptions. Adoption fees vary and are used to cover a portion of the pet's veterinary expenses. We do not do out of state adoptions.
